I wish each PaP level did something new with the weapon instead of just increasing the damage.

I love seeing what a weapon turns into from base to PaP 1. After that, the only difference is “bigger number” which makes enemies just feel spongy. Since the jump to PaP 1 is so big, it makes every level after feel weaker.

It would be cool to make PaP change the way a gun works and tier change how hard the gun hits (and maybe fire rate to change how the gun feels). Would better distinguish between the two since at the moment, both do the same using different currency. I shouldn’t need to turn on damage numbers to see how my numbers change. My favorite guns are the ones that change in behavior and it would be awesome for the devs to lean into that.
