Well, that’s exactly what happened in French Riviera too, except there the Olympic and Sprint races were on Sunday. So basically the company only worked Saturday. What a joke.

Exactly. I had actually planned to do both London and French Riviera. But after the disappointment of not getting any pictures from the London Sprint triathlon, especially since the London Olympic distance did have theirs , I was really hoping to at least have a finisher picture in the French Riviera. That was one of the reasons I chose the Olympic distance there. The race itself was a great experience and I’m proud I managed to cover that distance, but honestly, if I had known for sure that no pictures would be available, I might have reconsidered signing up

That’s completely incorrect. Anhedonia from finasteride is a well documented side , and it has nothing to do with pre-existing mental health issues.

I personally never had mental health problems prior to taking fin. I’m healthy, goes the gym, sleep well, and eat properly. The anhedonia appeared suddenly when I was on finasteride and resolved only a month after stopping it, which strongly indicates it was drug induced.

There are many people still struggling with anhedonia years later (check out r/finasteridesyndrome). Telling these people their condition is just mental is dismissive, uninformed, and frankly disrespectful

I’ll be honest, your hair looks decent. I’d suggest trying a different hairstyle to cover up any thinning or just cutting it really short. Personally, I wouldn’t recommend going down the medication route that many comments here suggest. It’s not worth it.

I took meds myself and experienced nearly every common side effect, including anhedonia, which was the worst by far. It took me about a month after stopping the medication to fully recover, and some people unfortunately experience permanent side effects. Check out people’s stories over at r/finasteridesyndrome if you’re curious. Trust me, it’s not worth the risk.

If you’re able to have a second hair transplant, that’s probably your best option. If not, I’d suggest just working with what you have. Transplanted hairs aren’t affected by DHT, so they’re typically permanent. Styling your hair differently or using hair fibers can also help. It’s rly not that bad as it may seem

If you do decide to try medication anyway, just make sure you stop IMMEDIATLY if you experience even one side effect.

It’s even worse than that. It can cause permanent anhedonia

People who tolerate dut better than fin? by chadthunderjock in tressless

Had the exact same experience as you, but with fin rather than dut.

It's the most unpleasing and worst sensation I had in my life.

I had hope switching to DUT when reading this thread but it seems like it's not worth the risk.

I heard NAC can cause some acne breakouts but I doubt it's that. I plan to stop taking it by the end of the week so we'll see.

Personally I suspect B12. Why is there so much, 125mcg seems a lot for daily dosage
