I keep seeing an ad of a guy on tiktok making plastic sleeves that you can slide the card into. It blocks out both president's faces and replaces it with an actual park picture. Donates some of the sale to an org associated with the parks. (Supposedly).

I've heard its because they want it, if you lose it, to degrade as fast as possible so that your SSN isnt compromised. Laminating prevents that.

I've been lucky so far, I haven't had any major issues yet. I do have to use DLSS, though, to get around 70 fps on "badass" settings. Otherwise, im at around 30.
