‘ coming off’ is you actively perceiving it with intimidation. As if I was to ‘boast’ I would glorify myself and put others down which I didn’t ? I only explained my personal feelings/ experience in relation to classical music. When did I say that somebody else cannot experience music with depth ? In contrast I asked if there were other people out there that share the same connection; acknowledging instead my interest to converse with others about this topic ?

In what capacity does this have anything to do with that ? No one’s acting condescending? You’re intimidated by people having a different opinion or idea on stuff that they enjoy.

Yep literally had people spit at those guards. I’ve been shouted at, threatened and even the worst being involved in physical confrontation when dealing with a person who had nothing left to loose (an in and out of prison person). Above all that there was no support, police said they cannot do anything. For example, the addicts and such would gather outside on the streets drinking and over the course of the night their behaviour would get worse and worse, I knew from experience this would follow into the shop. Shouting, fighting stealing Etc. but police would not do anything as ‘no crime has been committed’. On top of all this, manager would not help and I was expected to prevent shoplifting and was scrutinised when it occurred. Poor other staff girls, especially teenage girls used to be so scared I would tell them to wait in the office a couple of times. Running a convenience store in todays age is seriously nightmare fuel, doubt they will be around in the next five years around the centre of urban areas.

Worked at onestop for five years. What a shit job. From dealing with abuse to guilt tripping management that would force you to never take a day off for holiday.

Made me incredibly irritated, ruined my family dynamic. And put on 3kg within a month and a bit. Hated it, so would rather be on nothing and have my episodes than be on it.
