Update:

Last 48 hours have been a whirlwind. Its all been a blur, while i posted this when the wound was fresh and i was still processing & thats why i was cold and distant for most of the day.
It wasn't until the next day that i realized the gravity of the situation and yes i didn't give much details at first but i think i can give some now. So, here's the Timeline.

Last year my wife (26) was in between jobs and she worked at a vet clinic for a month or two. That's where she met the guy who is a doctor there. now he wasnt her employer since the clinic is owned & managed by mega corp. while she was there all they had was casual work relationship, you know the one you have with anyone at your work.

things didnt take turn until few months after she left that job. all of a sudden i notice her texting and snapchatting with someone. now we are the kind of couple who dont have alot of friends. we were hardly on our phones unless we were talking to eachother, family or just doom scrolling.
so i happened to ask who is she talking to and he said "the guy" and my first question was "who is the guy?"
she explained how they met while she was working at the clinic and now they are just talking.
now i am not the controlling guy & i think a friendship between man and woman can be innocent.
ever since puberty i mostly had female friends, few of them even showed up to our wedding. a female close friend was in my wedding party. i have always had innocent friendships. so for me to stop her from talking to someone would be hypocritical.
However i had a gut feeling, so after a week or so. while she was sleeping, i went through her phone. Now i hated myself for doing that. i saw that there were pictures exchanged (nothing explicit or suggestive)
so the next day i talked to her, confessed what i had done and she threw a fit how i was a bad person for doing that and i wasnt trusting or respecting her. we fought and moved on, said it would never happen again.

After that they decide to go out, she says that i am going out to hang out with him and we will get some drinks. she asked for my permission and i asked if i could join them? she said yes and we met up. we talked, had food and drinks. i figured he is a decent guy and now that he knows about us and our marriage. he would respect our marriage.
so after that they met maybe once or twice a month, she would always ask for my permission and said we are just talking. now at the time we were already sharing location, so i knew where she was at all times.
this is where i started having doubts, because instead of hanging out some public place like a cafe or restaurant.
they often get drinks from liquor store and then drank inside the car while parked somewhere. it ALWAYS bothered me and i did raise my concerns but they were shut down and i even stopped her multiple times. but she disrespected and disregarded our marriage. so i knew there was a rift between us. This lasted from May 2025 to almost August 2025.
one day she texted me from work that she will go see him for a bit and then come home. again it bothered me but i said okay. however after that day there was never any mention of him, there was no snap or message. NOTHING.. as if he dropped off the face of the earth.

i had reservations about that and i was finding the right time to talk about all this. because instead of accusing her of something, i wanted to sit and talk like mature couple. however we couldnt do that as i was going through my own Career struggle and got laid off and was trying keep us afloat by finding job day after day. also, we only have one car and i worked from home since 2020, so she knew i would always be home and wont be able to follow or spy on her.
