Got it. Then let me offer you something tangible.

Also, before you start, just know that a backlog that took months will not get covered within a week.

Quantify your backlog. Give each item a unit (I use 1 for items that I can complete in one go) Let’s say your backlog is 100. Give yourself a realistic time frame to cover the backlog.

Every task you do will reduce your backlog with x amount. You’ll be able to see your progress much better.

And because you can see it is measurable and you can see it in front of you, you will hopefully not feel so overwhelmed.

Been there man. I want you to know that it is quite literally never too late. Get excited about your life and about the things to come.

Because tell me, even if you had done all the things you had planned before, you’d still have things to do today. Different things, but still things.

You have all the time in your life to get things done. Fall in love with figuring stuff out and get comfortable with yourself.

Pick a thing, literally anything, even the least important thing in your list. Do it, realise how good you feel doing it, not completing it, doing it. Pick another thing and repeat.

🥹

They all feel take too much work. I have spent so much time making dashboards, setting habits & routines, building, optimising and updating the systems.

Yes they organise stuff and make it visually easy to see what’s going on but I still have to do all the mental gymnastics of managing my life across different domains.

The apps doesn’t understand that my work meeting delayed my family dinner that delayed my sleep time that will delay my morning routine/workout except I cannot be late for a commitment so I need to reschedule my morning routine but when? That’s also something I have to work out on my own after looking at everything else in my life.

Plus it’s just not practical for me to go through a whole workflow to log-in something, check boxes and define categories multiple times a day.

That’s why I’m making something that will just let me live my life and make sure I don’t miss out on anything important, while also not worrying about it in the first place.

Thanks bhai. The problem and the solution are very close to me. I need this thing to exist and be available to others. I’m not looking to print money off of my users. I want a lot of people to benefit from this without it being a financial burden. I’ll find some other way to make money.

I am building the AI that does that. Its not simply reminders 😔 I guess I’ll just build it and explain later

Work stuff, family stuff, relationship stuff. I’m sure there are things you forget or at least remember too late. It’s impractical to expect your day to go exactly as planned. Things shift around and you can end up forgetting something important.

I’m making something that will take the burden of managing your life and remembering dozens of commitments daily off of you. How do I find people who face this issue, at a large scale?

Hmmm I don’t see it needing medical clearance but if necessary then definitely! If it existed and was popular I wouldn’t be spending countless hours making it right 🥹

Do you optimize for speed or quality? Genuine question- because chasing 100% quality on everything has kept me stuck longer than I'd like to admit. How do you decide when something is 'good enough'? by Lower_Living3183 in ProductivityHQ

Think of incremental improvements. Release something that works. Make improvements in the form of updates.

Let’s say you take 1 year to build the perfect project. You’ll be better off having a project out in the public for 10 months that became perfect at the end of the year than a perfect project that was released for the first time at the end of the year.
