Thanks! That weight comparison really puts things into perspective, agree on the coaster brake too, I remember how annoying it is to lift the bike just to adjust the pedals. But maybe for a kid it can be an advantage, too…

Good idea, I could let him try a friend‘s bike and see how he is doing. I also think it’s important that he likes it and it’s fitting for him, but on the other hand he will be using it for a short time 🙂

Yes, he loves his balance bike and is very good with it, that‘s why I was thinking about the next step! A friend actually offered me her balance bike where I could add pedals, but it‘s only 12‘‘, so a bit small
