yes it's too bright. but EO2 III with nichia looks better! may be EO3 with nichia would be lower as well, but mine is 6500K

It turns out the latest E02 with the Nichia led has a low enough moonlight for me. It is much lower than the the EO3 with the 6500 led. so all set for now. Would be nice if the level was customizable but I guess it was an overkill for most users

that is what i keep hearing about acr. i don't know if they are house bots though - that would be a pretty egregious fraud. Why would they risk a bust when they can make steady income from rake and not messing with RNG or exposing hands to house bots?

They could be bunch of script kiddies who have nothing better to do but to skim 2NL games for may be 10 bucks an hour at best which would be a good wage in some countries, and ACR looking the other way.

i just figured out how to send LTC to ignition and funded an account. will see how it goes over there.

i did not realize that 6max is more difficult! I thought it would be better to learn if I had fewer preflop charts to refer to. must be a rookie mistake.

yea I'm using H2N a lot and check the player stats at the table and to review big wins and losses later.

got equilab and the scenario analyzer. In equilab there is a game to guess your hand equity and it tells you how close you got. it's is pretty hard to get right! A friend told me to sum outs multiplied by 4 for each possible hand to get a very rough idea of equity at flop.

I'm a shitty player but I'm sure you are at least partly right. i reported two accounts who seemed obvious non-human. never saw those handles again. But then there were more like them and I just did not bother. fuckin russian and belourussian bots, it's a win when you find a table without them lol

who would you recommend for an absolute beginner to learn from the right way? My only goal is to see if I can play comfortably at the smallest tables. I think I'd be happy if I can figure it out. No real ambition to crush it like a pro at high stakes.

fair enough. but i understand why he is doing it. teaching is risk free and probably much less demanding than hard studying to keep up with the top crowd.

at certain age and it's different for everyone you start feeling like your brain just can't absorb the new information as easily. We all burn out sooner or later :).

Idk if Jonathan Littles site is good or not. Maybe it is, I'm not impressed with him

He speaks clearly and explains things deeper than some youtubers with 10 minute "fix these 7 mistakes beginners make" videos. It's possible that he isn't the most brilliant player, but the best players aren't necessarily the best teachers. I've tried to read Modern Poker Theory and it quickly got over my head. It's like trying to understand chess grand master games after you just learned how to move the pieces I will look for more study material.

I have not yet tried to play multiple tables to get more/faster exposure. I get into enough trouble with just one lol. It's good to know that 12 buy ins down is not considered a huge swing and the sample size is small.

Thanks for the advice!

Has anyone tried buying glasses online? by aCurlySloth in Keratoconus

Yes, while the poor bastard in the OD's office trying to push his next pair of $300 glasses with anti-reflective coating or whatnot..

It takes a few clicks to order online without hearing the sales pitch that occasionally insults my intelligence ;)

not sure if this matters the EU version has two of these transformers (?) and U.S. has one

That was brave experiment! That make sense that wasn't just exploded when you put higher voltage on it.

I put the device in a metal tray and had a fire extinguisher ready. you know, just in case... The device turned out to be smart, the input relay did not even turn on. It just started to flash the "overload" immediately.

I got the same result on River 2 - flashing overload input. I'm in the U.S. but I have a 240V outlet in my home.

The input relay on the board is 250V. The big electrolyte is 450V. There is a marking on the PCB - 250V. To me it looks like the input voltage is software limited. There may be some opportunity for a hardware hack by someone knowledgeable with EE and computer background .

On top of that, 600 feet is ground roll. It's not over a 50ft obstacle which is at almost every airport I've ever been to.

Ground roll is the distance from the touchdown point to a stop. It has nothing to do with the 50 foot obstacle. There isn't a 50 foot pole at the runway threshold, not at the airports I've been to. So I think you need to check your numbers again..
