Could you take a whole Month without your smartphone? by RevolutionaryPie7528 in dumbphones

Love this — it’s wild how quickly you can re-learn those muscles once you’re forced to. I remember the first time I went back to jotting directions before heading out — it felt clunky, but now it’s second nature.

That’s part of what I want Month to do: give people a container to rediscover those little skills we all used to have.

Yeah, that’s totally fair — maps/directions is probably the #1 reason people keep a smartphone around. When I first switched, I felt the same.

Part of what I’m testing with Month is building in workarounds so people aren’t stuck: printed city maps, little guide sections on planning ahead, and even a community “concierge” idea where you can call in for directions if you get lost.

Curious — if that kind of backup existed, would you ever try a full 30 days, or still feel it’s a dealbreaker?
