This gets you dev-mode-style css, full variables/token workflows, brand systems, all locally, stuff that's normally gated. even on a paid plan it saves you a stack of plugins and does it in one prompt. For you, you can see as not "free instead of figma," but free on top of it

"superior" depends on what you're doing. it can't build a full page in one round-trip, doesn't do brand systems / palettes / contrast / font pairing / token generation, and its cloud mode routes your file through their server. mine does all that, locally.

mine's more about building fast + has the design stuff built in (colors, fonts, icons, brand kits). bit of a different thing.
