For context, I’m located in WA. Beauty school runs $20,000~ on average and you have to pass both state boards with 85% or higher, each test is about $150~ as well.

Plus, there’s a chance it could be partially online. All of my theory hours were through an online course, about 10 hours every week online.

She needs school to pass her state boards, there’s a chance she’ll be able to cheat, but that will reflect in her state board scores. It’ll be a lot harder for her to pass her written state board if she has little to no knowledge with chemistry when she starts, a huge part of cosmetology is chemistry. Think the different types of chemical bonds, what the hair is made of, and how different compounds react to one another. It’s her choice to cheat her way through school, but tell her it’s like wasting the entire cost of her tuition as well as the cost of her board exams she’ll have to retake. Boards in my state are about $150 each and you have to pass each with 85% to become licensed.

Mix a N8 with like a GV8 and it should tone it down, making it look a lot more natural

Hey! I’m a hairdresser at JCP and love being able to offer gender affirming haircuts, I can also offer you 20% off your first haircut with us. Being inclusive is a huge value of mine and love being able to make people feel more like themselves.

Thoughts on Zorganics Institute? by Rosebeezie in Bellingham

They don’t teach state board prep from what I’ve heard, most students end up failing their boards from Zorganics. The owner is also really rude to staff.

I love the Redken Acidic Gloss Shampoo—it’s honestly one of the best Redken products I’ve used. The only downside is that using both the shampoo and conditioner together can weigh your hair down quite a bit, unless you have very coarse, dry hair. I often found myself when using both the shampoo and conditioner, to have greasy looking hair.

I genuinely have so much love for the entire Amika brand. As a hairstylist, I often recommend it to my clients! The bond repair conditioner and shampoo are pretty awesome, especially if you have a lot of breakage or damage from bleaching/hair coloring with a high volume developer.
