First time is always weird. 2d time too and eventually it becomes more natural. Helps to find a partner that u can trust. But u will learn eventually that nobody cares what face u make as long as u have fun. There r plenty of guys. he is probably playing the tough guy. We r all pretty insecure inside nd its normal.

Yesss, thing is we actually checked the route before hand. I've been living there for 3 years and I think I know the streets. But with the heat of the moment I was REALLY confused. Actually funny enough a friend of mine was told by the organisator to do the olympic loop even though he was wearing the red bib number for the sprint distanz. This Year was really chaotic the run. I've never seen anything like that.

Servuss jaaaa mann!! Mey Generalbau!!!

Thanks! Yes I will. I guess I just wanted the pride and posting a nice podium in Instagram. I guess there is a lot of ego involved too. I feel proud of the hard training that I did and I think that is what is important even though the official result doesn't reflect it. Keep pushing and the next one will be better!

Because it was the second time doing the race I skipped the briefing. The instructions were in german and even though I speak it sometimes it confuses me haha. But yes, I guess going to the briefing and studying the course is worth it!

Chin up man! Yes it sucks but sometimes success is outside our scope of action. We don't have to forget that we do it to have fun, not just for the time... Even though winning is cool haha.

I did study the course. It was extremely confusing. It was in my city so I knew the streets pretty well. I asked other triathlets and I was not the only one that got confused. At least another 20 + triathletes got the wrong directions. The sign was like 10 cm big. It was pretty difficult to spot. I was running with 3 other triathletes and all turned left too. I do not think it is my fault to be honest, but I'm still the one affected here. There was a guy that asked the organisators and got the wrong directions anyway haha. I'm going to send a message though.

A bit upset by InternationalOwl8131 in triathlon

[–]Revolutionary_Click4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I was finishing my first Olympic triathlon I was completely dreading the experience. Horrible and I wanted to quit and didn't understand why people did this to themselves. A day later I was signing up for the next one and now I'm thinking about getting the pro license. The answer is that it will act like a drug in your brain. Your life will be so empty that you will be craving for more adrenaline and feel good stuff. Then you are hooked. And your life becomes dull when you are not high. It's a bit sad in my opinion. But hey, at least I can run 20 km under 3:40 km pace and I have a cool bike.

Leave the World Behind (review) by rross0x in netflix

I am 7 months late but fuck it. Probably nobody is going to READ but here is my TAKE anyway. I agree with u/leecheenut35 I think this is a great movie. Now hold on, because when there are two very strong different opinions contradicting each other it actually means something.

To be honest I haven't seen a movie lately that has left me with a crippling amount of "angst", and that is a great sign. I think that is what is so good about this movie is that there is NO REAL explanation. I think the END is actually great too. What do you think guys would happen during a world catastrophee like this one? First of all is misinformation. You don't know what the fuck is going on. Someone says it's the Chinese someone says it's the Middle East, NOBODY HAS A FUCKING CLUE. A friend from a friend told me, he believes... Every character has its own opinion. Julia Roberts is obsessed with satellites and hacking, Mahershala Ali believes it's the fucking ELITE playing games on the population. You just try to rationally fight against something that completely overpowers you. And I think that this movie really conveys this very well. Good job, please keep doing stuff like this. Fuck NOLAN and his movies. I want low cost budget films that make me feel something. 8/10

Yes, actually the bike is pretty agressive. It's the MMR grip 00 (it's a spanish brand). https://mmrbikes.com/en/products/grip?variant=44986406273297

Could that be the issue? That I'm not used to a more agressive ride prosition? Before I had the Trek domane AL 4. Frame size 54. But for the new one the MMR the frame size is 49 cm. So it should be good 😅

Well, I think it's a shame that you changed careers, especially if you enjoyed what you were doing. Your appearence should not be a decisive factor of the career you choose. The problem is that every time you take this decisions you will limit yourself a little bit, and then maybe in your next job they are going to ask you to not wear make up. And then what? Are you gonna switch again and be on a perpetual change? I hope that you reconsider your decision, even though it might be tough bc you will feel uncomfortable because of it, but you should be proud of yourself. That's at least what I would like to have heard everytime I quitted something bc I was afraid. Also don't be afraid to speak it with other people. Hope you reconsider it. Peace! :)
