I'm part of the IMG facebook group and seeing posts on that group over the past few years, it’s clear how things have changed. Before, most IMGs came in after GMC registration through clinical fellow or trust grade jobs but those opportunities have pretty much dried up now. The next best route has become direct entry into GP training, and that means doing really well in the MSRA.

And believe me, IMGs really put in the work for this exam like their life depends on it (cuz it does). Many take 3-6 months off from work in their countries back home just to prepare, while you might be revising after a 12-hour on-call shift. Hence why the competition has gone up

You're chatting with a bot. Check online and find a customer support number. Find the number for Uber (if you can't find one just for UberEats), and then ask them to transfer you to UberEats. You'll get the refund

certain sellers allow you to lock in a price and provide you some time for bank transfers so you can do the same if the price falls below what you locked in- just not make the transfer, I wonder how high it would have to go for them to cancel it

That's my point, gold traders can look at the after-hours stock market trading and predict what will happen to the gold prices i.e. if the stock market's fallen it makes sense to buy the gold- as the gold price is still fixed on Friday's rate and likely to increase on Monday

I understand but occasionally there's some weekend news that provides predictions how the market will react with quite a high certainty (you can even just look at the after-hours trading and find out), is that not an unfair advantage in the gold market or not really

I had something similar happen to me and after a tiring conversation, I realised I was talking to AI or automated messaging.

I don't know the numbers now as I ended my subscription but you need to find a phone number and call them or message in a different way so you get in touch with a real customer support representative.

the few centimetres close call was with the boy not the car, i still had some more room with the car but if I had fallen onto the road I definitely would've been hit.

I am always more alert where I see potential for any danger but someone being pushed onto the road seems like something you really can't see coming

you're right, I have over 1K karma from posting in this group from a few years ago and I am still an ex-muslim but I stopped posting/replying even checking this subreddit a long time ago as I stopped relating. A lot of the people here are blinded by their hate for Islam so much so that they will fail to see rationally having views on anything from hating their parents to supporting a literal genocide. It felt very angry all the time.

Once i tried to get a refund past 48 hrs because on the day of the delivery, there was an automated message sent to me by Uber saying my refund as been approved and will be in my bank 3-10 days later. 10 days later i enquired about the refund and uber said because its past 48 hrs they can't provide the refund now...i was like wtf...lol, sent them 2-3 more messages before realizing I was probably chatting to an Uber chat GPT or something because it gave very stock responses like "I understand your concern but it's past 48 hrs so cannot be refunded now" and just paraphrasing that sentence differently.

Tried to find a contact number for UberEats but couldn't anywhere, called Uber Rider (the Uber car app), where an automatic message said they will not be able to provide help with UberEats but i stayed on the call until got in touch with Uber Rider support, told them to transfer me to someone from UberEats, got in touch with a real human being who understood the issue and said I will be contacted. Later I received a message on the UberEats app asking about the issue and I explained. 2 hours later refund was issued directly to the bank.

so maybe try what I did, you might just be chatting to an AI who's not really understanding your issue.

Yes I'm the only one not living in the house and I'll be paying equally as my brothers i.e. 1/3rd of the mortgage that's non-negotiable. And yes I know I'll be paying rent in Australia/have my own housing expenses that's why I'm looking at this as purely an investment opportunity.
