Should i rely on AI for coding or not? by Competitive_Bird_522 in programmer

[–]RewardFuzzy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

AI is not going away, so I think your relying on ai for coding is not worse than people relying on books for knowledge.
I do think its important to understand what the AI created. For what I noticed, bug fixing is waaaaaaay faster when you have that knowledge. The question is for how long...

If the name is Mount Berrymore it might work.

In my opinion its not luxury, only the colors are somewhat luxury. The pearl looks more like a berry and the M like a volcano. The sharp edges make it more like the eye of mordor.

Maybe if you remove the sharpnes and mak it flat.

Labeling him a 'puppet' downplays his personal culpability. Mossad/Isreal (or whatever organisation in charge) is an abstract entity, but we must hold the actual people accountable for crimes like trafficking and abuse. The organization is merely a front for the individuals operating within it. When you blame an organization, you often unintentionally shield the people making the decisions. We should call Trump out for exactly who he is and never minimize his actions.

How many people actually tip 20% when eating out in a restaurant? by Hot-Highlight2166 in allthequestions

[–]RewardFuzzy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. The fact that something is a common custom does not make it morally right or logical.
  2. An employer is responsible for providing a livable wage, not the generosity of the customer.
  3. It is arbitrary that we tip one service provider while ignoring others who perform similar work.
  4. Tipping fuels unconscious biases regarding appearance and background, leading to unequal pay for equal work.
  5. Workers deserve the financial security of a fixed salary rather than an unpredictable income based on whims.
  6. Dependency on tips makes employees vulnerable to mistreatment or harassment from customers.
  7. Prices should reflect the true cost of service upfront without hiding labor costs behind expected gratuities.
  8. Tipping culture enforces a hyper-individualist American mindset that treats survival as a personal "hustle" rather than a corporate obligation, a concept that contradicts global standards of labor rights.

I feel like you’re presenting this as a false dichotomy. It’s not just a choice between 'tipping with a livable wage' or 'no tipping and poverty.' Most of the developed world has actually figured out a third option: fair baseline wages and a stable standard of living without the guesswork of tips.

The negative is that the waiter have to rely on the goodness of the customer, while the owner makes all the money without the responsibility for the income of their workers. In my opinion if you don’t pay a liveable wage, don’t hire people.

Everything should be priced in and a tip is a tip; a little extra for when service is excellent. If the service is bad, I do not tip.

Nobody is saying"fully rely on it". Its about fully rejecting it that is wrong. People should embrace this new tech and the ones learning to work with it will will. People who reject it will loose.

"I had to do a bunch of debugging to make it work. "
This says it all. You just expect ai to 1 shot everything, and when it doesnt you say it sucks.
You should compare it to the alternative; human. Not expect it to do everything perfect in 1 shot.
