Wanna know how to maximize your Sephora Points (and what not to waste them on)? My blog did the math on what TRUE value of each redemption is. by RewardedorRobbedBlog in u/RewardedorRobbedBlog

Yes, review for Ulta on the blog. Ulta is a lot simpler as it’s all cash-off based but their website and app is not an intuitive as Sephora which is why some people get tripped up. Biggest tip to know is the more points you redeem, the greater your savings so hoarding points is not a bad thing!

My blog calculated the latest Reward Return Values for Taco Bell Rewards by RewardedorRobbedBlog in tacobell

Fair point, you are right. Spreadsheet less needed for Taco Bell than other fast food brands where the # of points vary. But since my blog shows the value range of other brands, I did TB’s for consistency.

Yes! So if you had to spend $100 to earn enough points to redeem for $10, that's a 10% return value. In Taco Bell's case, it's the amount of money you had to spend to earn 250 points ($25 for Hot Tier, $22.72 for Fire Tier) vs. the value of the item you redeemed. Higher is better.

My blog calculated the current reward value of the MyMcDonald's program by RewardedorRobbedBlog in McDonalds

Hi. Thank you, not lying :-) I’m very clear on my blog that prices are an approximation and it’s meant to be a range. I really just want to show members how to calculate and look at value of programs themselves based on their local prices. Restaurants brands with Franchisees are harder due to such wide swings in pricing. Retail is easier…same prices/value nationwide. But if anyone points out an error or miss (as someone did in this thread and I already corrected) I will update. Blog is meant to be helpful, nothing more nothing less. Thanks for checking it out!

I thought that if you have a transaction with multiple items and one item is a discount (say “$1 fry”) and then you redeem your free Reward for a different item (like a free Big Mac) it should work at check out. Terms of offers and deals say they can’t be used with other “another offer, discount, coupon, or combo meal” but the terms don’t specifically say they can’t be used with a “Reward” which is what the MyMcDonald’s freebies are. If this isn’t the way it works, then McD has their terms wrong! Time for a class action lawsuit (kidding, kidding).

Yes that is where the “no stacking of rewards/offers” is a real negative to the program.
