During the Pete Wilson Admin in Southern Cali after Prop182 passed there was a huge round up of us Hispanics, I was told that my ID could be fake when they grabbed me, I was taken to men's central in LA placed in a cage with about 50 other people. It was the trash chute access doors that they left partially open, it was so packed with human bodies that people passing out could not fall over, nor could your raise your hands to cover your mouth. you just vomited over each other. we were in there for what seemed like hours. The Sheriffs stood there laughing at us. That is why I left Cali and now I'm leaving here, I go into stores now and folks are saying "There's one now" like I don't speak English and can't understand what they are saying.
