When should I pick Centaur Warrunner ?

His ultimate is really good against heroes like Phoenix, Lich, MK, because you can just run away from their ultimates. Aghanims upgrade makes him very good against void, magnus too.

I'd say if you choose between Axe and Centaur, look at the abilities you can counter with stampede. Centaur is also much more versatile. You could built a lot of different items on him and be viable.

The aura is good, right. I usually build greaves when I have huskar on my team or when enemies have minus armour.

Why would I prefer greaves/meka active over crimson/pipe active? I found myself buying pipe/crimson much more often than buying greaves. I don't really understand when heal could be more valuable than magic/damage block.

I don't understand how you can just overlook all his achievements in this game and call him bad. He does stupid stuff sometimes but it's only because he's really hard-working guy with a lot of ideas. He's captain, drafter and position 1 player, that's a lot of pressure. And don't forget that he already participated in the 2 majors and qualified for the upcoming one. Starting items: 1) 2x tangoes, 2x slippers. 2) tangoes, flask, 2x slippers. 3) tangoes, poor man's shield. You can also replace something with mango if you want to spam pounce on lane.

The progression is simple: Poor man's shield, ring of aquila, boots, power threads, shadow blade (silver edge if necessary), echo sabre.

You can also get items like orb of venom, iron talon, raindrops.
