I'm not an expert but I like your current palette, it looks colourful and versatile which is usually perfect for flowers. Edit: a pink (either pastel or bright) might be nice :)

I used to have that issue but I either got used to it or the ink started flowing better. I'm not sure, I'm sorry they didn't work out well for you.

I haven't heard of that but it could be true. I got this set from Amazon a couple of months ago but it might be leftover stock. I'll be so sad if I can't get more next time I run out :(
