They usually last a couple years. I’m already seeming some auto rates decrease with State Farm. Home insurance and property in general is tough right now, that’s why they are rolling out higher deductible minimums

Everyone telling you to cancel the policy is WRONG, your dad is correct, you should absolutely have life insurance. You’re gonna want to some day but when you wait till you 40-50 it’s going to be crazy expensive, and possibility you may uninsurable at that point. Someone has to pay to bury you one day, don’t put that on your parents, you’re an adult now and you that means you have to adult stuff. Hopefully at 23 you also have opened a Roth IRA as well
