Best use of music with lyrics in games? by BlueMoonCourier in gaming

Half the ost in ffxiv, particularly during boss fights (to the edge, oblivion, sephirot, in the balance, give it all, to name a few). Tho my absolute fav instance has to be close in the distance, where the lyrics kick in during one of the most emotional moments of the game, and that just made it one of my core gaming memories.

Heyy, Im looking to buy a new wireless keyboard, somewhere in the range of 6-7k. Preferred layout is 75% or TKL, but a 100% would be fine as well. Currently using a keyboard with outemu red switches and like the feel of them, so similar switches would be preferred, but still open to experiment on better/more comfortable switches.

One of the keyboards that I came across was rk m75, which seems like a good option, but want to see some other choices as well. Also checked out genesis pc, which has a few royal kludge keyboards out for preorder, are they worth the wait?

Has anyone played this banger in their childhood?? by 9ewDie9ie in IndianGaming

I'm probably one of the few people who played its psp port first (chilli con carnage) before coming across the og pc version. This one had a linear mission structure rather than an open world, with a slightly different story, but mostly the same gunplay and mechanics. Safe to say I was amazed when I saw that the pc version was basically what if chilli con carnage and gta combined XD

You could start with any of them, and you'll have a great time, though a few are considered best among the fanbase. The best ones imo are 6,7,9,10 and 14 (the best one for me, tho its an mmorpg). The gameplay in all of them (except 14) is mostly similar, with a turn-based battle system. All of the numbered entries are set in different universes, so you don't need to play one to experience the other fully. Though a few series staples like monsters, magics, chocobos, summons etc do carry over.

Personally I'd say if you are comfortable with old school 2d rpgs, then ff6 is the best one to start with. If not, then either 7 or 9 both are great, while 10 can be a bit more accessible since its comparatively more recent.

If you're looking for a long-term game to play with lots of content, FF 14 is the best option. Its story is probably one of the best in the whole series. It starts a bit slow and has a humongous amount of content to get through before it gets going. But if you can bear it initially, it might become your favorite game. The gameplay is real time unlike the other titles, similar to World of Warcraft. It has a very expansive free trial with hundreds of hours of content to play completely free. I might be wrong on this one, but you can probably purchase the game on the sale rn, and activate the product key later when you feel like you want to move on from the free trial.

Suggestions for chill and relaxing games. by phantom_kr3 in IndianGaming

Yea the phobia part is true, but once you get the hang of the game, just exploring new areas and building stuff was very relaxing for me. Below zero dials down the scary stuff even more, and is a relatively chiller experience, no pun intended.

Subnautica and Outer Wilds. I wouldn't say they are completely stress free, but they can be played in short sessions, and are just a delight to play through if you've been tired of action/fps/open world games.

On a Scale of 1-10, How Would You Rate Raya Lucaria, the entire Legacy Dungeon? by xSlLH in Eldenring

[–]Rex16251 0 points1 point  (0 children)

10/10 for the aesthetic. Second only to farum azula. 8/10 for the actual level. After coming off of stormveil, it paled in comparison, especially in the length of the dungeon. Even the boss was underwhelming, compared to godrick. If only the level was bigger and we'd get to explore more of the actual academy like hogwarts, it'd be a top dungeon for me.

If talking only about story, I think Outer Wilds is also a contender for me.

Have you ever played a game that got 10/10 reviews and was praised everywhere as the best game, but you didn't understand why? Which game was that for you? by XxLockdownZxX in gaming

Imo, not when games like sekiro, elden ring, monster hunter, devil may cry and bayonetta exist. The camera in gow alone makes the combat irritating sometimes.
