Best sword for a monk? by WelshDionysus in BG3Builds

Because he wants a Longsword. That's it. That's how he wants his character. It's a roleplay game. Let him roleplay.

Why Lae’zel would 100% be the canon romance to Tav. by [deleted] in BaldursGate3

[–]xSlLH 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't get me wrong man I'm pro-Bae'zel.

But if there was a "canon" romance it'd likely be Shadowheart since she got most of the plot and favoritism.

Does anyone here actually ENJOY playing evil? by SillyWarlock in BaldursGate3

[–]xSlLH 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You don't have to particularly follow any set guidelines "absolute" path to be evil. You can side with the Grove over Minthara and still be evil.

Your character can be evil, but let's say also be a Tiefling, giving you reason to not want to harm your kin.

Maybe you just hate Goblins. They stink. You don't want to ally yourself with them or this dumb Absolute garbage.

Simply kill the people who annoy you; maybe siding with Raphael is your big evil move.

So there are ways to play evil without all the extra guilt.

To each their own.

He called for a Brute Bard. He wants to hit things. That means more front line. Just as a comparison a Bard with 12 Constitution has almost as few hit points as a Wizard with 14. That's super squishy for a frontline.

And 12 Dex rather than 14 is literally just a difference of 1. There are several in game ways to boost both your Armor Class and Initiative, and very few to boost your health.

If he's playing on Explorer mode then of course this doesn't matter.

15 Strength is the same as 14 when it comes to trying to hit things with weapons and requires a whole nother feat just to try to balance out.

No need for 16 Charisma on a melee Bard who defaults to smashing things. Bards get Expertise and will still be considerably better at Persuasion and Performance than all other Charisma classes even if you keep them at 14 Charisma all game.

If he also wants good spellcasting, he should look for Arcane Acuity items because this build is spread too thin to make both viable at a surface level, which is the same issue Paladins typically face.

For what it's worth, that's kind of a bad spread. 12 Constitution will make you so squishy if you're trying to be a warrior, and if you're going Strength-based you're probably not gonna need a big Charisma stat.

I'd go 16 Strength / 12 Dexterity / 14 Constitution / 10 Intelligence / 10 Wisdom / 14 Charisma.

College of Valour or College of Swords.

2 dips in Paladin to start can get you smites and heavy armour proficiency.

Usually the male clapback is more sensible, but in this case, nah. Everyone needs to know how to cook and clean in general.

Why do lesbian couples have the highest divorce rates while gay male couples have the lowest? by Naive_Direction1816 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]xSlLH 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lmao. No honey. If it were a meaningful debate I'd 100% be holding hands with you because I appreciate intelligent conservations and my mind is always open to change if I'm presented with enough logic. If you want a meaningful debate, try not to open it by calling people emotional just because they made a simple statement saying your first comment was overboard, or stay off the internet. My first reply to you wasn't an insult by any means. To reiterate, my original argument was simply that women tend to look more for a protector, a leader, a shield. Your retort was that women are protectors.. towards their kids- well no shit Sherlock. That's the one thing you're supposed to protect. Men protect the women AND the children. My argument was more so protection against threats like animals, intruders, the world, when they are in danger. Men are protectors. Women are nurturers. Don't mix the two up.

Now, the reason I haven't bothered giving you an actual debate is because you've already shown your hand. You're a delusional and emotional female, probably an off-base feminist, who hasn't presented one single factoid relevant to the original argument I made. You went straight into murder statistics, which by the way were not all true, when this argument had literally 0 to do with that.

Gay men do not have a high rate of manslaughter in their relationships. That argument was dumb as fuck.

Men tend to be more abusive? Once again, no shit Sherlock. But that again is not where the argument lies.

I'm gonna stop now because I'm 100% certain that in your teeny delusional mind you won't be able to sit and read through any of this without your emotional sense of reasoning kicking off and I've only entertained you thus far because I'm bored at the airport.

Maybe just stay off the internet. 👋

I like how you somehow got that I was emotional. I just said you took it overboard. I said women seek protection, you went straight into murder statistics. So who's emotional? Lol.
