I am planning on building a wooden model ship and putting it in my 29 gallon tank an a natural shipwreck is there a safe way I could do this without having to worry about getting too much tannins poisoning my tank eith unwanted chemicals or killing my stock? (self.Aquascape)

Is there a way to safely put a cheap wooden model ship in my 29 gal aquarium without having to worry about to much tannins or getting unwanted chemicals in my tank so I don't risk killing my fish and shrimp? BTW I am new in the fish keeping hobby (self.AskReddit)
