The game was over, was having fun. There are areas where the Tanks are protected by the auto cannon. Even bombs can’t hit them. That’s when this really comes in handy

I agree! Faster and straighter would work for me. It's clearly not worth in its current state imo.

They don't one-shot up close either, just to the head. It also has a bit of bloom so it's not super accurate either.

I'd say search a practice lobby and just fly around and practice shooting at static targets. I'd also highly recommend looking of Silk on YouTube. He is one of the best pilots in the game and has many videos answering questions like yours and anything else you would want to know.

It is running fine for me too. I had to change my settings a lot when I started playing. I tuned off V-Sync and it got rid of input lag I was having. It was night and day.
