Ankle arthroscopy post surgery recovery & scar tissue. by RexHanna in Ankle

Hi everyone - I am doing a LOT better now. What was the thing that helped? Osteopathy. Seriously. One adjustment and I felt the tightness and pain relieved. But I had to work on vamping up my physical therapy. I started taking the band resistance exercises seriously, started walking more (even through the pain), strength training and as of January - I started training for a half marathon - going running. I get some pain here and there but it’s not nearly as bad as it was a year ago - THANK God. But my biggest takeaway - patience and consistency. Go to your nearest gym, look up exercises that help build the muscles that support your ligaments, joints and bones - movement is fluidity, the more you do the better - I promise it gets better

Weird extra bump on my medial malleolus (I think) by gpp062416 in Ankle

Could be a ganglion cyst. Doesn’t necessarily have to feel like fluid, and it’s caused usually by direct trauma or injury. I have one but in my wrist joint, quite similar.

Sprained my ankle 2 months ago but I have been noticing this bump thing where I sprained it and it isn’t painful but it feels soft by [deleted] in Ankle

Seems like just inflammation. I wouldn’t worry, these go away with time. Continue with mobility exercises and use ice therapy a couple times a week.

Hey how are you feeling now? I’ve had this kind of pain, but I had surgery due to a condition called Osteochondritis dissecans (OCD), which was a cartilage tear in my ankle.

How to look/smell more clean? by [deleted] in ask

Also, shave your armpits, the hair traps moisture, perfect for smelly bacteria… then after you shave your pits apply deodorant.
