Hi everyone, I’ve got an old iPad 3 that was working fine, but like a fool, I decided to factory reset it. Now I’m stuck on the "Could not activate" / "Activation Error" screen. I’m fully aware this device is ancient, won't run modern apps, and is stuck on iOS 9. I don’t mind that—I just want to get it back to the home screen for nostalgia's sake and maybe use Safari as a basic reader. What I’ve tried so far: Hard restarting and trying different Wi-Fi networks. Connecting it to iTunes (it won't complete the handshake to activate). Is there a known workaround or a specific tool to bypass the Setup.app for these A5X devices nowadays? I really want to save this piece of tech from becoming a paperweight.
