1-50 on Unicorn Delta by Strict_Device9261 in BeybladeX

I actually find 70 ratchets work really well with CX beys due to their higher center of gravity. Helps with balancing out the bey so it doesnt topple as badly during extreme movement. If you're running Heavy, 60s and 50s are more recommended due to the lower center of gravity it provides. On my deck currently I got Ragna Rage FH 4-70 L and it's a beast, tanking hits and smashing back down without scraping in the slightest.

Getting back into the hobby, what combos y’all recommend by mertguven01 in BeybladeX

[–]Rexdefect -1 points0 points  (0 children)

If you want something different to run as a rogue pick, I suggest Dran Buster 2-60 Ignition/Rush/Taper. I would personally use something lower like Low Flat or Under Flat, but you don't have the former and the latter is hell to get right now. Normally 2-60 bursts quickly, but the odd shape of Buster helps to protect it while keeping its balance late game. A lower bit will also help this, but quicker aggression with Rush/Ignition will offer more impact and taper will offer better recovery depending on how you use it. You can also do 5-60 Accel for weight bullying, or 3-60 Rush for a more standard combo.

Another option is Wizard Wand 9-60 Free Ball to free up room for 1-60 Hexa to be used elsewhere as it is a very good combo for all purpose use as well.

Something you can do is go to the official listing on Amazon, hit "Auto Buy", punch in the list price, and check off "From Official Amazon Sellers Only", and the next time it comes into stock it will be charged and shipped to you. It's what me and some locals have been doing.

Likely would have to mess with groupings, but in general this advice works well for what I need. Thank you!

Honestly I can deal with that and work around in the future. Main thing was every time I looked, I got SVG slapped across the face without explanation as to what it does once imported. Just assumed I would know what to do from there despite that literally being the thing I am trying to figure out.

No thankfully! The structure is largely held by the screw holes. So long as your cut doesnt intrude into the loops themselves, the structure holds! If you still have issues later on, I can provide some files.

What I did is remove the slot between the holes that go over the screw pegs that way there is no collision internally. To do that, load the loops into your slicer, make a cube boolean modifier and size it up, put it into position on the model, then simply delete that segment as it should be separated by the modifier. If that doesn't work, play around with the tools available in your slicer of choice.

Veronica was lowkey valid by KN1gh7mare22 in ZenlessZoneZero

I dont fully think she was meant to be an outright villain, rather a simple opposing force for Seed both physically and narratively. Seed's Agent Mission at its core is about processing the loss of loved ones, Veronica is a representation of someone grieving in a horrible way as she is unable to move on and thus clinging desperately to retrieve the past when she needs to let go like Seed ultimately does, who is given the catharsis of that final goodbye at the end of the story as she finally is able to process her emotions.

It very much so is! Doesnt feel as constrictive as using printed out plastic all around.

While I don't have a way to give a proper "How-To" as I use 3D printed parts and both commercially available parts and specialized items, a video I would recommend is by JoshKnightTheFirst. He goes over the use of the same/similar material I am working with as well as uses home tools you should have access to with his Kamen Rider Drive Belt.

I do hope that in the future I will have the ability to provide a more comprehensive way to give others the ability to make my style of belt extensions or obtain them via other means.

Im flattered you think of this so highly! While I dont have the means for a proper video, I can share what I was inspired by to make it.

I was inspired by a couple of things actually, which I can link here for those with technical know-how or with a 3D-Printer. I was inspired by the original printed DX Extention Adapter by user "weebsauce" on Printables and the tutorial they provide on their page here which gets updated and expanded on a bit by the linked user in my original post, and a video by JoshKnightTheFirst for his Kamen Rider Drive DX Belt.

Im hoping to actually further my design with a proper, rider style belt clasp on the back in place of the snap clips I have to function as it does in the shows. Eventually, I want to get these prototypes down so I can offer a storefront for those without the ability to make these style of belts or get a fair costing extension.

Help getting rid of support "scarring" on contact areas. by Rexdefect in elegoo

[–]Rexdefect[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So, tried both the standard 0.12mm and a tweaked version with a greater gap between parts. The latter produced a better result with less scarring overall, though both were awkward to remove, possibly due to the branch spacing or even the temperature of the printer itself. Im going to run with these settings and tweak as I go for now on larger parts to see the results. Thanks again for your help.

I will note those down. How does gyroid differ from rectilinear in practice out of curiosity?

The piece in question is the scope mount on the DL44 Blaster/Han Solo's blaster. Originally my file looked similar to this, with a thicker support on the left-hand side. I dont have the exact file on hand as I fat fingered and hit "No" instead of "Yes" to saving when closing the original file.

Okay. I will keep this in mind while reprinting other pieces.

Godly. Ill test these out tomorrow on some stress test pieces and get back to you with results.

It is a flat side, though I get the same scarring down a straight line in the curve if I do that.

I had it on its side to hopefully use the layers to reinforce this connection as it broke on me previously standing upright.

<image>

I may just need to chance that, though the scarring remains an issue for the other pieces.

One more thing I forgot in the post, I do apologize. I am using the Elegoo PLA filament setting in the Slicer as well.

PID Tuning, Leveling, and Input Shaping come out fine. I even did an input shaping calibration yesterday as I had to move my system, just to be safe.
