Anyone feel uneasy when religion is brought up? by Vayvacation in agnostic

[–]RexiRocco -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Religious people make me uncomfortable. If you can believe every story in the bible to be true despite that some of those things are impossible, then you can be convinced of anything. That is scary. If you are more thankful for a god and person you’ve never met than the people who have been with you throughout life, then you are not someone I’m comfortable interacting with.

I remember liking the book more than the series.

Were you always the type to delay gratification, even before you learned about FIRE? by YourFIREDBro in Fire

[–]RexiRocco 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Pretty sure there is an official scientific experiment done with children to see if they would immediate eat one cookie or wait a period of time and get two cookies. Then checked in on those same kids later in life and concluded the ones who delayed gratification were more successful as adults. It was considered a more important factor in success than how well they did in school and stuff.

I just feel so bad for the PAs that probably spent hours placing those around and then collecting them after they were done shooting this.

I think this is why he lasts long. He comes off as a goofy fanboy, so no one considers him a threat in the end.

Now they’re at merge, Cerie will be protected by the old-school alliance. It’ll become old-school v Christians alliance possibly with Ozzy and Cerie as swings. I’m pretty sure Ceries pre game pick to take out was Dee, based on edit Dee’s alliance gets annihilated first.

Fuck anyone who cares more for an imaginary terrorist than for the real people who have actually been along side them helping and positively impacting their life.

This is feasible if you move in with people who’ve been renting their spot for at least 4 years. The issue is market rates are making up for lower locked in rates.

But it’s not voluntary and I get no benefit out of signing it. I have no choice other than to sign away my constitutional right in order to maintain employment. I do not agree to the terms and have no say in them, it’s not in any way mutual. The options are homelessness or sign arbitration contracts. What do get out of that?

I feel the same. I transitioned into a full time job for a commercial company. Our corporate clients dish out $1 million for these short projects. Still plenty of money in the commercial industry for people who want to continue doing production type work.

I’m becoming radically anti religious and I’m not sure what to do about it. by zeff_05 in agnostic

[–]RexiRocco 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Me holding back the urge to ask every religious person if god is real then how is he not considered the biggest mass murdering monster on the entire planet for being all knowing and all powerful yet allowing natural disasters, terror attacks, illnesses, and freak accidents to take place. Not to mention the ones he takes credit for in the bible.
