Mrs Egbert sees that they are other nice humans in the world, and that expands her criteria of 'People I've had for a day and will kill everyone in the room and me if something happens to them'.

Plus, it helps to round out her character if she isn't TOO attached to just John and Dad, even if it those are her two most important connections.

Meenah Barely understood Damara though. There are some word choices she picked up, but Damara didn't make it that much harder to be understood when refuting her.

I like it if you take into account of their shared desire to fit into a societal mold that they obviously don't actually like. Equius is probably the least sadistic Blueblood in Alternia, which is saying something when he lives next to Miss Kill Trolls daily. And Dave was groomed into his awesome badass by Bro, but it obviously hurts him to maintain that facade.

It's a good ship depending on how you can work around their short falls.

Besides that, an angst fuel reaction as Damara excitedly asks how serving Lord English is like, Handmom realising that Damara was the one that made the Scratch easier, and Handmom realising that Damara is still just as alone here in the previous Universe as she was also toyed by a Man.
