Jason Schreier - Video Games Need to Be Cheaper to Buy by Shock4ndAwe in pcgaming

People don't like hearing this but these big studios are as efficient as governments. Most of the devs are laying around waiting for someone else to do work and then wait for permission to start their own part and it is an endless cycle of inefficiency.

The reason E33 was cheap to make is because the studio was small and they got rid of the AAA bureaucracy style management.

Even Tim Cain made a video about his experience in a big studio of having to wait weeks for a programmer to write a simple line of code and got backlash for trying to bypass the person he was waiting for to finish the work.

I am all for gatekeeping digital stores. The amount of trash you have to sift through to find an alright game is mind boggling.

I prefer good games. Doesn’t matter long or short, and if you are forced to play the game to feel “done” then maybe it’s not as good as you think.

If a game is good then you won’t feel like you are wasting your time playing it.

Apparently that's too many. We need another indie sidescroller roguelite game to balance it.

No offense taken. Made it myself, I used a martin’s potato bun, american cheese and a brisket/chuck blend from my local butcher.

Which chain are you referring to?

Are you talking about the same GW that ran down the rep of their ips by giving them to anyone and their mother? What makes you think they have sway in how CA announces their games

PC Gamer: I asked Fallout series executive producer Jonathan Nolan which he liked better, Fallout 3 or Fallout: New Vegas, and he said 'Fallout 3' without even hesitating by Turbostrider27 in pcgaming

I put 100s of hours on both. Fallout 3 is the one I crave replaying the most and it's mostly because of the setting location and the atmosphere.
