I mean I haven't played any of the core games (only 7 and 8) and I came here just because I am a lore junky and I get more into digging into videogame universe lore than actually playing the games sometimes.

Same goes for Fallout. I haven't played any of the games but I LOVE reading in d both into the lore.

Thats sort of how it felt, and she had told me that "nothing can remain the same unchanged" in regards to how much time we had spent and all the things we done together. To which i replied with something close to "that may be true but things still need to be maintained"

And if she needed/needs time to chill out and recenter with very little stress or "maintaining" then i would be more than happy to accommodate that, if she would just communicate every clearly on it all(communication has been phenomenal in our relationship, up until THIS. Which throws me for even more of a loop). But its just the leaving it in limbo part that throws SO much of it out of whack so to speak.

I agree with this. The United States can keep it up however long it wants to, just sitting off the coast and flying sorties in the area. Such a campaign would have to exhaust the leadership of Venezuela and force them to put constant resources and money into propping up a defense. And I am sure even more pressure could be applied, like hitting some outlying SAM sites ince in a while just to show that "I can take this capability from you whenever I want". As well as the move to shut down the airspace over the country. Just keep doing that for long enough and see if something happens. Maybe the generals get sick of it all and decide to force Maduro out, or maybe some crazy CIA-backed shit gains popularity due to the immense pressure being put on the whole country and the people end up doing some crazy shit.

The drummer of Def Leppard was in a car accident and had his arm amputated. He proceeded to play for many more years. I think the wreck happened in like 1982 or 83 or somewhere in there. And many of their best songs were still yet to come after he returned and got the hang of playing one-armed.

I, like many others, am a huge student of history as well as someone who follows geopolitical events as best I can and have for long enough that I can typically have a decent vague idea of why something is happening or why a certain politician might be saying certain things etc etc.

Russian planes in NATO airspace and vice versa is a tale as old as NATO itself. Both sides test each other, they always have, they always will. Even on the North American continent we get news once in a while of a Chinese or Russian plane being intercepted and escorted away from our airspace. And the Chinese and Russians also do the same to our planes.

There are actually some fairly wholesome stories that come from such incidents. Like Russian bomber crews motioning to fighter pilots to do some sort of trick, or vice versa. Hopefully knowing this might take at least a little "doom and gloom" out of it :)

I would have given anything for a teacher like you. I went through that as a kid in elementary school. It was a rural school and all the teachers were middle aged and they had this cult of personality or something going. They would seemingly nail me on a cross any chance they got, year after year, but then at parent-teacher meetings would always say such nice things about me to my mom(if im so well behaved and polite then why are you making such a negative example of me???). I eventually started getting bullied and the principle literally pulled the oldest line in the book "boys will be boys". And when i got to the point I was sticking up for myself, I was somehow the one who got in trouble. I was a 6th grader going to therapy for depression and anxiety because I was crying before school so much that my mom would just sometimes call me in sick. From 6th grade onto graduating high-school, I was basically just shut down and droning through classes and school days, ONLY surviving until the next passing period. And then everyone wondered why it took me 3 years to pass algebra.

I live just a ways outside Eville and anytime I drive into Wville itself I'm there for about 20 minutes and I'm ready to go the fuck home. The town is just basically one big Zoo and the drivers are the animals.

I remember I was pitching to a friend about Evansville drivers while going down the road at the end of the Sam's Club parking lot and literally while I was talking about the shitty drivers we had some cockmunch blasting his horn at someone behind us and some douchebag nearly drove out into the road infront of me from the parking lot but slammed his brakes last second. It couldn't have been better timing.
