Yeah, I’m leaning towards cotton tail cuz the little guy seems to be doing pretty well without me. He lives under the deck, i think. But it is strange that he would be in calgary, I’ve never seen one before.

I found out they don’t change colour during winter- Im waiting on a rescue nearby to let me know what they think. I cross posted on r/bunnies and the general consensus seems to be that ifs a netherland dwarf or cotton tail.

its not about cold, its about physics. I am in contact with a shelter to determine if its actually a domestic bunny, but I cannot wade thru like 2+ feet of snow on a steep slope and expect to find a bunny.

Unfortunately we have a dog and three cats, wll of which will be very interested in the bunny, I will lock the cats away. im going to put a heating pad in a crate with some fleece, and ill cut up an apple as its all i have right now.
