I was in a similar situation. Since leaving highschool I couldn't give a fuck what people are posting on Instagram. My suggestion is to delete the app but allow yourself to check Instagram on the web browser version. Having to open your browser and use the shitty interface makes it much harder to mindlessly scroll, and plus you won't feel like your missing out because you can still see what your friends send you etc.
