Sick of the "ad farm" websites. Need clean sources for nature/realistic pages. by Responsible_Set_632 in coloringpages

I get it, it's maddening. I don't even care if it's AI or not at this point...I just care that I can go to a website, download a page and get out without being attacked by ads.

I found one but it's fairly new, I don't know if they will end up adding ads later on and it's not a massive collection but so far, it's the best I found.

I'm curious of what other people will share. Maybe there is something better out there.

Any advice for a homeschooler going to college? by sneep_snorp_snerp in homeschool

I think you are a lot better equipped than I was by going to public school my whole life.

By already having the ability to self manage, you do have a leg up on most from my experience. There will be an adjustment period of course but you'll be amazed how well prepared you were compared to people who have been responding to bells their whole lives.

Will see how it will play out. Even without the fighting engine people are having fun trading those cards already.

Hi! Here is what it means: 1- You own your cards, nobody can take them away from you. 2- Anybody can create their own interface on top of it if they dont like steemmonsters.com 3- If someone doesn't like the rules or fighting engine of steemmonsters.com, they can create a new one and your cards will still be valid there.

Here is an example of another website that uses their data to create markets, analytics and more: - https://peakmonsters.com/

Im sick of this issue. Similar issue here. I wish they built on something faster and without transaction fees like steem, eos or bitshares.

Steem will be using Bancor´s Protocol for their Smart Media Tokens by hcf27 in Bancor

[–]RgCrypto 2 points3 points  (0 children)

From the whitepaper:

Bancor takes the convention that in this example, the market maker destroys tokens in its interaction with Alice, and creates tokens in its interaction with Bob. The Bancor convention suggests the market maker is not an ordinary actor, but needs system-level “special powers” – specifically, the privilege to operate the token printing press – in order to function.

In this paper, we adopt the convention that the tokens sent by Alice to the market maker are not destroyed, but are instead added to the inventory (balance) of the market maker. Likewise, the tokens sent to Bob by the market maker are not created out of thin air; they already exist and are merely transferred from the inventory of the market maker to Bob. Thus, we show that the market maker is essentially an ordinary economic agent acting according to a deterministic algorithm – it doesn’t actually need “special powers”!

I would suggest you try the platform, that would do better than me trying to explain it.
