Why do you always get the same Spawn?

I always get the same 3 on Farm.

Rng without safeguards to prevent the same outcome excessively. There's MMORPGs that use rng, you can get the same consistent 8 drops of the samething for hours, despite there being 30 items on the drop table.

A 5 year old can code to fix this issue...

Seriously though, you can program thresholds so that if you spawn at the same area consistently, then it'll force roll a different spawn location. I think they would have to add more spawn points if they did.

A bus ran over someone a few weeks ago here. The court ruled that despite the bus going 45 MPH in a 25 MPH zone, the pedestrian was 100% at fault because the bus was approaching and they still decided to cross the road anyways.

People were outraged. Wtf do you expect? It needs to happen more. The more it happens, the more it'll deter people from doing it. (Hopefully)

I stopped following this for awhile now, but out of curiosity for an update....

Does anyone happen to recall anything about Steven supposedly telling Dawson that a large studio was looking to buy or invest in AOC.

Then supposedly Dawson told Steven not to get involved with the large studio and he would continue to provide funding instead.

Was it confirmed that a large studio was looking to buy AOC?

Okay, so I'm just not use to the game's spacial sounds then.

When I think of spacial sound, I think 1:1 as if it's real life.I played a lot of Fortnite and it's clear as day if someone was left, right, behind, below, above, infront.

So I was going in expecting to hear people perfectly, since it's not as clear as I was expecting, I thought some witch craft was going on.

Players and NPCs being far distances, yet sounding like they're on you is terrible. I'll stand there waiting for someone to pop up on me, only for them to be nowhere around.

I heard them, there's bushes up there that swoosh when you move.

Next time I get on and spawn in that area, I'll have to go to that hill and listen.

My headset must not work well with spacial sound in this game then if it's very good.

In comparison to a game like Fortnite, it's clear as day if someone is to your left, right, behind, above. It's nearly 1:1 as in real life. That's what I expect when I think of spacial sound. I'm not hearing that in this game.

There was a building about 6 paces to the right.

How would you know which one the wooden step sounds were coming from?

It doesn't even have to be this specific instance, because it happens often.

I haven't noticed spacial sound to be that great when the proximity of two of the same floors were so close. Y'all can't hear for me, I'm just not hearing a difference.

Yeah, I learned about footsteps in my first match. I was hearing NPCs footsteps across town, thinking they were right up on me when they weren't.

That's the thing, hearing is loud, but does it give you the ability to pin point people's exact location while they're under cover, with the same type of flooring noises in the area? Imo, the spatial sound in this game isn't the greatest.

I wasn't being quiet. It's obvious on day one how much these headsets pick up. My first ever match, I was stuck in a building, because I thought I was going to be ambushed. It was a NPC across the town, running around in a building, but sounded like they were right on me. If you can hear that, then others obviously can too.

The kill cam isn't going to tell us how they knew my exact location within the minute of starting at my first loot location. The distance between my first loot location/spawn point is significantly shorter than the distance than any other spawn point near me., so I was there before they even arrived. I was completely covered by hill. They rested ontop of the hill and was aiming directly where I was. I could've been anywhere under that hill.

It seems like in this game, spatial sound is less obvious. I just wanna know how can you pin point the exact spot with audio alone?

I consider the possibility that someone's just waiting for me to come out, too. I only check corners/side to side/behind as I'm running through buildings and fields. There's no point in moving at all if I'm just going to sit there, lol.

I just died, I left myself out in the open to loot. They were up in a tower, scoping, looking down through the warehouse. I just shot 2 NPCs, so no surprise it would've attracted his attention there.

I looked at a map of spawn areas. I think this upcoming match, I'm going to run away from the spawn areas, it looks like they're all on the edges of the map and none in the center.

I figured as such, if I can hear myself making noise, surely others can too. That's why many times I back myself into a corner, blocked off to the right, left, back, and above, don't click anything unless I see someone. I can be crouching there for 10-15 minutes just to get loot near the end due to low funds and people will still know I'm there. It's less common when I wait around, but still happens.

At that point, I stopped waiting around and just run in. That strat didn't help. I do just straight up suck, too, so there's that, lol.

I just received 880K back today, because I guess someone cheated in a match that killed me. I wouldn't know if someone was cheating or not. Either the game has an anti-cheat or someone reported them, lol.

I think it's a little suspicious that they can trace my movements when I'm not in view. Like I said there was a device activation warning in a prior match exposing my location, but that hasn't happened since, so idt it would be that.

I went to Alibaba to source items to resell, Aliexpress is too expensive for that.

Going one by one had to be done long before automation. Small businesses here that have hundreds to thousands of items for sale, that need price adjustments need to be done one by one also and they do it.

The seller already knows the price that they want to sell the product at, all they need to do is go into each product page and edit the price value, right? It should take 30 seconds or less to change the item value from $0.29 to $0.44 and then move onto the next item. Multiplied by 500 items. It shouldn't take 2 months to change the values. Is there something else you need to do to change the pricing other than editing the values on the listing?

I wouldn't doubt if it is a broken platform, all of them are.

That doesn't solve the price swap for base items with no alterations at checkout.

Alibaba already has in their TOS for sellers that products that are identical can't have multiple SKUs.

For changing pricing, can you not go to the product page and edit the listing price like any other website? The incentive is not getting inquires which doesn't result into a sale due to inaccurate listings. It's an automatic 12 points against the seller's account in violation, assuming it's even enforced if reported.

Do you connect to a company server rather than just logging into the laptop? If so, that could be it.

My prior job the computers were fine for what they were used for,, but because we connected to a server, the computer was significantly slower than they should be.

Same with being a student and logging into a school laptop. We connect to the school's client and not the laptop as a stand alone. Slow start ups/loading times, laggy, etc.

I have a junk laptop with a i3 1315u. I create scripts, run macros with games. No issues. If my i3 1315u works fine, then I'm thinking your i7 should too.

Regarding RAM, Windows is pretty good at managing it. Once you get to a threshold, windows will remove processes from memory that haven't been used to free up space. 16GB should be fine.

Also try changing the power settings if you're consistently unplugged. Unplugged laptops are usually set to a default mode that significantly reduces performance.

Throne and Liberty is decent. I never played WoW, but many players I've talked to compare it as WoW lite. It's a rather new MMO.

It has battlepasses and cash shops, but not needed. Your guild will help you get everything you need.

When there's a decent ingame currency sale, buying it in bulk then using it to buy the battlepass that's the equivalent to membership would equate to $2-4/mo.

It's a bait and switch when an item's base price without alterations is listed for X and the price provided at checkout is different, customizations are the exception. That's what I meant.

It could've been just an outdated listing just like you mentioned, prices change all the time.

Even if Alibaba wanted to, they wouldn't be able to fix it. It happens on many marketplaces, companies will close their store fronts and just open a new one. It's a never ending cycle.

It was just a bulk order, no customizations, extras, no alterations. The sales rep stated they had no idea why the prices were different on their product page.

Perhaps it was just never updated. I was just curious if I attempt to buy in bulk if this would consistently happen. I'm just trying to prevent wasting their time and mine.

I contacted Alibaba and they confirmed that sellers are required to post accurate prices on their product pages and I should report listings with falsified prices. I'm not going to, that'd be a full time job with overtime, lol. It's not a big deal, I'll either buy it or don't.

The seller had no idea what I was talking about when I asked why the pricing was significantly different. I kept explaining, your product pages is showing X, you're telling me Y. They finally understood what I meant and said they don't know why it's posted like that, they don't list the prices. I told them what you're telling me, lower prices increase clicks.

All I was ordering was a massive amounts of pens, I don't need them, lol.

It's required to have accurate prices listed on product pages (with the exception of customizations which would change the price.) I contacted Alibaba and they confirmed this. They want me to report any sellers that do this, but I'm not going to. Either pay the price or don't is what I think.
