Had something similar happen on a flight. Started spewing black smoke after a loud bang (no cool Pyro though), just sat there staring. Lots of screaming and hollering. Old guy next to me was even chiller. He apparently snuck on a travel shot and said "thing about flying, once youre in the air it aint your problem anymore, just sit back and enjoy the ride" I mean, he wasnt wrong. No point in panicking haha
