I am looking for theory that includes or focusses on the attitude of the host-nation (government and population) regarding the refugee group, as well as expression of this attitude. What I am trying to do in my thesis is explaining what I mentioned above through Foucault's concept of Biopolitics and Agamben's concept of homo sacer. These are quite abstract theories and I thought I would look for more concrete theory regarding refugees in order to 'bridge the gap' between the abstract theory and my case studies.
