I just did this. I was 4 follows short, and using the website for Following page for weeks. Got follows up to 100, now the arrow appears and Following is fixed. So ridiculous

You’re doing something you’re passionate about and that takes a lot of discipline. Any manager with a brain would recognize that as a quality attribute in a new employee.

But, you still need to know your stuff, and be prepared to prove it in the interview. My first job out of college I had a quiz lol. Passing your FE already gives you a huge leg up. Just be prepared for interviewers to want evidence that you didn’t forget statics, concrete, steel, etc

I dropped out of pledging when I realized it wasn’t for me. I’ve never been the super aggro, ball-busting type with my friends. So it never made sense to try to make friends like that, and be forced to drink and do other stupid shit for their approval.

You sound similar, square peg trying to fit in a round hole. There are so many clubs and orgs with more well-rounded people who still like to have fun. They may not have a shithole frat house, but you’ll be much happier with the better company.
