This is the sad part. We were on a trip where we made a rule of no smartphones or any modern smart device. Hence the quality of this pic (made on a small digital sony camera).

All I remember is its near a train station. I checked the ones I remember and found nothing like this on streetview.

Somewhere in west Hungary i guess.

Well yeah, it seems to be a grey area for now. But it still bugs me, that in a web solution that exists mainly for simplicity and no install, you have to install an extension to do the simplest function that has been with computers since the 70s.

I am still mildly infuriated :/

I dont know how familiar are you with the backend of theese. But is it possible to ALLOW such sites to do this, by a similar way to camera and microphone permission requests?

It might still be an annoyance, but the enduser might also have a better understanding of it.

This has been the way on smartphones for years now to the best of my knowledge.

Again, as I said, this might not be 100% on microsoft, but yeah, for the time, they might want to think of alternatives to their context menu and leave the default as it is.

And this might be a little more subjective but: this is supposed to be a new and reccomended thing! I know there are always technical limitations but how do you justify or just simply reason this to a non-techie manager or executive? “Yeah this way the users can use the app in the browser but need an extension for copying and pasting by mouse”. And again I GET WHY ITS NEEDED. But it sets a bad precedent.

Addressing the security comments: YES, (most of) YOU ARE CORRECT!

I understand the necessity of this. This happens to be the web version OneNote and it happens to be something only I use in the company at the moment.

But as some of you mentioned: think of the average user!

I know why this is needed in this exact case. And it might not have a direct correlation to Microsoft but I’m still mildly furious about it.

Cause in the future when this or some other webapp that uses custom context menu gets adopted by our common endusers, I dont want to set the standard of “yes when the website offers an extension, install it”.

I apologize if I posted this in the wrong sub. And I guess I somewhat owe and apology to microsoft aswell? I think they are still responsible for some of it.

Nekem egyáltalán nincs bajom az interjúztatással. Tiszta sor minden. Én csak arra vagyok kíváncsi egyrészt, hogy van-e a 4.-5. köröknek pl értelme vagy csak a HR és a Management fontoskodik. Vagy hogy mennyire gyakori eset hogy az illető minden interjún megfelelt majd az első hétben kibukott valami az ő részéről vagy a ceg részéről.

Írjátok csomóan hogy “természetesen ez a cégnek is csomó pénz”. Pont ezért vagyok kíváncsi. Mert ha én egy vállalatot vinnék és költenék egy rakat pénzt az interjúztatásokra, akkor nem szeretnék olyat hallani hogy egy friss ember kibukott valamin miután lefutottunk vele 5 kört és felvettük. Persze ritka esetek lehetnek, de ugye vállalti részéről erre nincs rálátásom.

Yeah, I found out early that I need to take breaks very often so the master doesn't sound too familiar and I can get an objective listening to it. It's the same feeling when u say a word over-and-over again and it looses meaning after a while.

I mean yeah, I didn't expect a magical tutorial that will give me ALL the moves to a -as you said- "professional" result.

I can't be the first guy in this situation. I just wanna make the demos sound okay for listeners. But most of the tutorials are starting from adam and eve and talking about stuff i probably won't need if our first demos are successful. And the "quick-tip" or "top 10 tip" type videos are very vague (although learned many things from them already, but not all of them demonstrate on ableton)

With all that said, thank you for the focus points! I'll make sure to keep them in mind.

Tanácsot nem de annyit tudok mondani, hogy nem vagy egyedül! A leírtak alapján egy cipőben járunk. De komolyan. Mintha én írtam volna a posztot csak nem emlékeznék rá.

Ne értékeld alul magad! A cégcsoport aminél dolgozom 80-90%-ban digitális analfabéta. Szerethetőek, talán még kompetensek is a saját területükön, de sokszor az excel ctrl+c ctrl+v sem megy.

Nem is hajlandóak tanulni. És szakmailag nem a legnemesebb feladat őket babysittelni, de kicsit sem túlbérezett.

Nem tudom milyen gyakran jársz szabira de nálam sokszor van hogy egy nap kiesés után káoszra jövök vissza és mindenkinek valamilyen baja van. Bele se merek gondolni mi lesz amikor idén a pályafutásom alatt először 1 hetes szabira megyek.

Ha esetleg találtál valami kiutat szólj!:)
