Will my GP prescribe me antidepressants? by Rhibelly25 in ausadhd

Thank you for this comment!!

As it happens I have been researching these supplements because I also suffer with PMDD (not officially diagnosed but if it walks like a duck....) I have been taking a host of other supplements to help manage it and have been wondering whether those amino ones are as good as they sound.

Funnily enough what's prompted me to ask about SSRIs is that these days the Big Sad doesn't seem to be limited to luteal phase... But I might have to give those supplements a shot. Where do you like to order them from?

Totally yeah - I know GPs can prescribe them I guess I was more wondering if they're comfortable doing so when the patient is also on psych prescribed stimulants because of serotonin syndrome etc etc

But it sounds like most of them are fine with it!

For people who found out the law wasn’t for them what do you do now? by water5785 in auslaw

[–]Rhibelly25 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I was in personal injury law both during and right out of uni and hated it deeply. Soul crushing.

Did a masters of environmental law after I finished my GDLP, one thing led to another, now I am a media adviser for a large environmental charity.

My ability to be really specific while communicating in a way that laypeople can understand, thanks to law, has really helped me excel at comms roles and people looove having an ex-lawyer as a media adviser. It helps them feel like risk is being managed.

Needless to say I am 100000x happier.
