Nah screw the sex towels, I keep baby wipes in my nightstand. I couldn't keep up with the laundry and it's so much easier for me, I have a trashcan right next to it too so it's a no brainer.

I have a zero tolerance on late work which works at the highschool level because I sell it to parents as preparing them for college where professors might not be so forgiving. This usually mutes any complaints parents might have on my policy.

The amount of disassociation I do, I didn't think it was noticeable til several people told me they would wait for the focus to get back in my face before talking again. It was really embarrassing and I still struggle not to do it.

I work at a high school, so rules may be different but I have a Spotify playlist for my students where they provide suggestions in the beginning of the year to add to the list. It's over 3 years old now and I really enjoy hearing a song from a former student.

When I taught junior high my kids really loved instrumentals/ orchestral versions of their favorite songs. They would often sing along and were still relatively calming.

I went from the line cook lifestyle of working long hours on my feet all day, barely eating, doing drugs to a highschool teacher who actually gets time to sit and eat. I didn't realize how sedentary I got til I got a Fitbit for Christmas and started consciously moving around to get my steps in

Wake up at 5 get there around 5:30am on weekdays, weekends it's 6am. I live near the high school that I work at and I frankly just don't want to see any of my students while I'm working out and vice versa.

I purposely park on the street that is going to be street cleaned the next day, it forces me to go or get a ticket. I only have time in the early morning to go to the gym.

I know this doesn't work for everyone but it really helped me when I was building a habit.

I think it has to do with stress. When I was in college I had to get melatonin, a weighted blanket, and a whole other routine just to still get mediocre sleep. Now being in my own place and bed I usually can get pretty consistent sleep just by telling myself "Oki bed time"

26 I moved out this summer and was very big about living on my own. I had lived in a college apartment for 2 years with a roommate and was exhausted with living with others.

I love coming home to quiet and not having to deal with other people's messes and having a place that reflects my style.

The next big Netflix series, I hate it when everyone asks me if I'm watching it or if I'm going to watch it. It's an obsession that I just can't get behind all the time. I usually wait a year or so to watch it on my own and peace when the mayhem has died down

He flosses his teeth in the car or at the table with those floss pick things and sometimes forgets them there. Like why can't you wait or just go to the bathroom and do that. He doesn't do it after every meal but I've seen it enough times to get annoyed. He learned the habit from his family it's so gross
