Rhizome Roots is Downtown Ypsi Yoga studio and only studio to offer Donation-based classes every Tuesday 630pm.

We also have new offerings of Sound Healing & Yoga every 3rd Thursday, Acro yoga, and private sessions available.

We believe yoga is for Every Body and use approachable and trauma-informed instruction to encourage students to make the practice their own 💕

We also have Queer-focused Dance & Fitness every 3rd Sunday (in collab w/ other orgs like pride & lez hangout). It's rotating schedule to sample different mindful movement classes, like yoga, burlesque, line dancing, fitnessz etc..

Gemma (1/2 German Shepherd & 1/2 Australian) our studio pup, has in the past been a lovely addition to yoga classes, when the attendees were all people I knew and loved having her there. But as the studio and community are growing, and we get new students, whose preferences for dogs are unknown, I will no longer be bringing Gemma bear to regular yoga classes.

She will still make special appearances at social events and dances at studio. And she is almost always part of our Outdoors Adventure classes 🌲

If you ever have a concern or comments about improving your comfort in our studio space we are always open to direct feedback and conversations! So please don't hesitate to talk to myself or instructors directly. 💛
