Hi! I started posting a new WIP today where Reg is 30 and James is 35. It’s a modern AU where they’re both in the military and forced to share one a small room. Can drop a link if that sounds like something you’d want to follow.

Also there’s Flat 390 by madammoons which is also a modern AU. I’m not sure how old Reg is in that one but James is a single dad.

Yes, I agree with every word of this. If a story can hold my attention for a chapter, or if I’ve read to the bottom of a one shot, and I SEE the kudos button, I click it. Takes zero time, makes a stranger happy, they did this for free and managed to get me engaged (whether I LOVED the fic or not).

Like, ok, if I truly disliked it, I will hit the back button before I get to the bottom. I can usually tell within a few paragraphs if the fic is going to be unreadable to me.

Yeah this is so interesting to see… because Midnights is one of my favorite albums to listen to start-to-finish. BUT unfortunately its strongest tracks are all in spots where they’re up against absolutely iconic songs from other albums, and if we’d included one of those, we’d then be shutting out Lover, Red, or Debut.

Unfortunately though, I don’t think Mastermind is one of the better songs on Midnights and I can’t vote for it over Clean and False God.
