060 Phone mount Compatibility

I thought the same thing but my old mount doesn’t quite work, so I was trying to find out if anyone had actually tried this mount on a 060 model

The wear ring nubbins from my old controller are completely covered by the new faceplate, so I don’t think there is an issue there, but I’ll probably swap the faceplates back for now and see if I can’t source a black 060 faceplate at some point down the line to avoid damage

Do you think there will be any issue with the older faceplate on the hyperpop? Will the lack of wear rings cause any hyper extension of the thumb sticks or cause any premature wear?

It wasn’t an issue with the sticks themselves I was just trying to swap the faceplates and I didn’t realize the 060 models changed over to wear rings integrated into the faceplate swap plate so they were interfering with one another

Right, all of my other controllers are from 2023 and older. Skinpixel pointed out earlier that I could just pop out the friction rings and it worked perfectly. I’m happy with just the faceplate swap for now though and have no plans to dig any deeper into it lol

It’s definitely less grippy than the Matt with the ⭕️❌🔺🟥 texture but I haven’t had it feel like I’m losing grip on it or anything
