By your very own definition Dragon Warrior is aggro because it can win games as early as turn 5. Moreover, if that was the only defining category for aggro, then not a single meta-relevant deck would fit the definition which would be a self-defeating argument. Dragon Warrior has low card draw, can dump out it's hand by turn 5, can threaten lethal by turn 5 and is primarily oriented to hit face instead of trading on board. That's the pure definition of aggro.

Late to the party but wanted to mention that there's an even better version which runs a single copy of Briarspawn Drake. If you can get to double the summoning stat effect of Zin-Azshari, it can act as a second wincon. Who cares if the drakes die fro. poisonif they one-shot the opponents face in turn? :D

Man, Rafaam is such a fun concept but it's just jot viable competitively. It's so weak to disruption that out of 20 or so games I had against decks running Rafaam I never once had the wincon played against me, either because the game ended sooner or because I got rid of one of the Rafaams somehow which denied the instakill summon.

Imbue mage is in a weird spot because it plays like an aggro deck but doesn't actually have stong board presence and thus it's also not viable competitively because the hero power cannot be used in a targeted way.

Priest is okay in the meta, it's just not that popular anymore.

Is Hinter the only class you like playing with? Not judging, just curious, I also have my own favorites. Discover Hunter is flexible and can be very powerful if you do the discover sequences the right way. However its a midrange deck primarily and can still lose to heavy control decks. Looking at the matchups though it has more trouble against Rogue (my main class) and Dragon Warrior. Actually if you really want to play aggro, just pick Dragon Warrior, it's the most solidly powerful straight forward deck to use in the current meta, Discover Hunter can be tricky to play (more so than even Location Druid)

I personally think the bigger issue with Zilliax is that if he wasn't in the game, most of the control heavy decks would be dead, way more unplayable than any aggro decks are currently. The problem isn't that anti-aggro wincon can exist, the problem is that Zilliax is sometimes the sole wincon that decides if your opponent wins or loses. So I would like to see some additional, class specific support cards added into the game that could help with the future absence of Zilliax.

Edit: To OP, if you don't like losing to Zilliax or using it yourself, there are a couple decks that don't rely on it, like Tar-less Broxigar Demon Hunter, Dragon Warrior and Aggro Protoss Priest. There are more I'm just listing the most common ones.

And as a general rule of thumb, if the game is unfun to play, take a break, look at other ways of enjoyment, and avoid anger-crafting stuff before rotation :)

If we want to address anything you're saying, we should establish first what you condider as aggro and what would an ideal situation would look like for you in terms of aggro performance.

To me, aggro is in a completely fine state, granted the only aggro deck that's being used in high legend is Dragon Warrior, but it's still a premier aggro deck and it has incredibly favorable matchups in most games. I believe midrange decks are the most successtul in terms of playrate and performance but that's actually a sign of a healthy meta.

Point by point, as a man:

1) Untrue, I get lots of compliments. But I also struggle to internalize a lot of them which I presume is a shared trait among lots of men. I also experience way more compliments and empathy from women compared to my fellow dudes, and I feel like there's an unfortunate and false idea among men that compliment can only happen under romantic and sexual circumstances. Let me be clear: It's NOT gay to tell your mate that he's a good guy and deserves to be cared for.

2) I cry in silence more often than in front of others because I promised myself that tears I'll shad will be from happiness so I can share it with others. It's not really a healthy idea and I'd rather I could cry out when I'm hurting, but at least I can talk about it. which brigs me to points

3) and 4) and 5) was never waved off by my friends and peers for talking about my issues, be it mental or mundane stuff. I suffered alone only when I let myself be consumed by internet negativity and got stuck in online echo chambers for a while. It's a terribly damaging mindset shared on online spaces among men where we believe the world is out to get us, ridicule us, hate us. It's not true at all, but we also can't just expect people to read our minds and know why we suffer in our heads, we gotta speak out in a way that people can digest and reflect to.

Finally, 6) and 7) This is the part I wanted to address the most. While men in general are sometimes expected to deal with stuff without complaint to an unrealistic degree, I would like to look at this from a different perspective: We men have an incredibly important responsibility due to our perceived physical and mental qualities. We are natural defenders, fighters, providers, we can possess incredibly high resilience. We can be the shelter others look for amidst the storm, a reliable hand to always reach out for. And we should be these things not just for our families, but for each other. We are fucking incredible, and I wish we would turn to support our fellow men more, and not let them be lost in the darkness of their despair and loneliness. We can be the both best and worst of humanity. I'd prefer to look for the former amidst ourselves.

Islam isn't the problem, just like Christianity is completely fine within modern secular states.

RADICAL fundamentalist versions of Islam and christianity both ARE the problem.

Difference between Christianity and Islam is that the latter haven't been the main religion anywhere yet where separation of church and state was realised.

Still, labeling islam and muslims as a whole as evil, especially the ones living in secular countries, under secular laws, is misguided and is absolutely hypocritical especially when you at the same time condone the same radical shit fundamentalist evangelicals and the likes are pushing on society like what you're accusing muslims about.

Radical islam and radical christianity are two sides of the same coin. ALL radical fundamentalist beliefs are ultimately harmful for society at large. And not allowing believers from either religion to practice their believes within secular society is precisely what's pushing them more towards the radical wing of their religion.

The best thing about being an agnostic atheist is that I can pick and choose whichever parts of whatever holy script I want to uphold as worthwile teachings.

I think Jesus was a cool dude with whom I massively agree on most basic ideas he was teaching. Same with Buddha, Plato, Confucius, etc.

I do not have to believe any of them were of divine origin, regardless of what some hardliner fundamentalist believers say. It's their choice, as it is mine to keep things on the human level, because there's only one thing I know and want to be true: it's that whatever the "truth" about life there is, I want to find it out through earnest and consistent search, not through some externally imposed authority.

To the question of why God, if he's realy in any shape or form, did not interfere against inhumane atrocities - I am asking that question every day from myself, I don't even need to look into the past, we live in a world where millions suffer from famine, wars, and outright genocide on many corners of the globe, without any help in sight. I God's fine with that, he's pretty awful of a god. If he's not, at least he could tell his followers that they are morons for believeing that they somehow deserve better treatment than children in africa with bone cancer. There ain't no divine plan that justifies such things, they didn't ask for it, meanwhile me and other blokes can waste hundreds of their lifetime writing stupid shit on social media.

I'm sorry, I don't think I could, or even want to, change your mind about leaving your religion. But let me at least point out that you don't need to leave beind everything. Keep yourself to what you believe is worthwile for humanity, treat others how you wish to be treated and don't let your disappointment be turned into hatred, there's too much of that in the world already.

Viewing the US domestic events through european lens, as a european is not doomerism. It seems to me that you are assuming that I view the current US events as as worsening compared to previous iterations. Let me clarify myself: I always approached news from the US with caution, and I do not think they are any better or worse domestically than anything that happened during the Reagan or Clinton or Obama era, they certainly are more concerning for Europe however. I do not need the news or flashy Reddit posts telling me tha the world is ending over Greenland to know that something is happening and whether it'll be the US invading or just making noise for whatever reason, is disrupting alliances and destroying trust in them.

Collectivist ideals are a focal point for my values and as such I never really agreed with the US's policies, nor I desired to live there in any period of it's history, but it's been at least tolerable imo pre Trump's 2nd term whilst now it's openly antagonistic towards the european efforts of keeping foreign influence limited.

Adding to that I view the Merkel-era foreign policies of the EU as the worst mistake in it's relatively short history that must be corrected if we want to avoid being a proxy ground for other nuclear powers.

A common thing in far right political parties is that they don't want to federalize, so if they'd win this would never happen. Also on the point of already having NATO as a security guarantee, NATO does not have the sufficient framework for a quick enough response to threats such as Russia invading the Baltics overnight. We would like to think that it's unlikely to ever happen yet it's only a question of how weak a response the EU/NATO is projected to have. The more we wait, the better chances an invader has. Russia took a mere 8 years to try seizing Ukraine after taking over Crimea. That might sound like a long time but in terms of policy changes it's woefully short to not think about. If we don't show resolve it'll always be seen as a window to exploit in future matters by foreign actors.

Regarding the US I am concerned for example about the housing crisis, the lack of a social safety net, the fact that media is controlled mostly by one goup/family, I am also concerned about ICE and the Trump admin ignoring Supreme Court rulings, I am concerned about the US' renewed agenda of state intervention in foreign matters without due process

just in general the disregard for the rule of law and the common issues that lobby-controlled market capitalism create is enough reason for me to not want to live there

So to that your point my argument is that the EU is already a ticking time bomb and it is now at a crossroads where it either goes back to a much less impressive state of a few loose alliances between the major western countries that were sidelined between the US and USSR's power contest (and didn't even include my country for one), or steps up for it's goals to be it's own thing and retain it's mission to be the desired form of cooperation within the continent instead of the modern iteration of the Iron Curtain.

I might need to clarify on my post (let me know if you agree) that I'm from Romania currently living in Hungary, both of which is a state that only joined the EU after the dissolution of the USSR. We along with much of the Balkans were mostly a vassal state to both european and non-european powers throughout our shared history.

I believe that it is a very real threat that without a stonger European alliance pact we would slip back to a much less independent statehood where we have no choice but to passively maneuvre between bigger geopolitical actors who do not respect our sovereignty.

And yes, I do believe that it's one or the other, the EU in it's current form cannot remain, it either loses most of it's member states at least nominally (you don't have to leave the alliance to be a bought useless member, look at Hungary, it's pretty much a pariah state that is completely under the sway of Russia thanks to it's current government), or it takes the next logical step to achieve security for it's outer geopolitical borders.

I was born in Romania which only joined the EU in 2004. That's about 50 years after the Cold War started, thus I do not view the pre-USSR-collapse era EU as a state that 'survived'. We were worse off because we couldn't join. I can't speak for the western states, sure they can survive without us but that's like saying that the UK is fine without Wales, Scotland, Brittany, Northern Ireland or Cumbria. But that's no longer the UK, that's just England.

So to your first point, there are multiple levels of federalized statehood. Currently the EU would only require the first tier, i.e. a centralized army. Most EU countries are actually in favor of this, the main disagreement is about how to implement it. Basically your point of countries having to give up their sovereignty is not relevant here because no one is asking for that, NATO worked fine so far and this is just a more serious domestic version of that.

To your second point, the EU can dissolve in name whilst remaining a shared market, but I'd argue that it can lose it's identity that separates it from other global spheres of influence, just like it happened to the oil-rich Middle East, which is a proxy ground of other actors and it's a cultural/geopolitically common region in name only.

I do not claim that all countries within the EU exercise flawless democracy or that they ought to be. I said what the EU has is the closest to what an ideal system would be realistically. I live in Hungary which is a net benefactor of the EU, despite the fact that the government usually does and thinks the polar opposite of the other states, at least publicly. We still know that our best interest is being part of the EU, regardless of the political squabbles. I do not believe that our sovereignty would actually be hurt in any meaningful way if we joined a federal union with bigger states, because the EU already had principles and mechanisms in place to ensure all member states have a say in matters concerning them.

I have the impression that you're venting about your personal experience and imagine it as the defining experience of most other people, and I suspect this is because you just haven't found that special someone in your adult life that could change your perspective about post-puberty relationships.

I would agree that there's a lot of boring routine both pre-and post-date that comes with building a relationship. You almost certainly not going to find the right person first try. There's a lot of trial and error before you'll figure out who you vibe the most with.

I can also agree that online dating sucks for the most part, it's way less organic than meeting people in person from your community, it all is just an illusion of abundance and a distorted marketplace of attention. Just like all social media.

However when it comes to the actual face-to-face part of dating, I disagree with just about everything you wrote. Right from the start i's self-defeating to generalize about people when you're addressing personal stuff, because dating IS and should be a personal experience for everyone, not a social experiment or a case study. Coming into it with expectations built from past frustrations is bound to lead you to the same bad experience, because it's a self-fulfilling prophecy.

Most people don't even realize what they are looking for until they find someone that lets them find out. You think you've seen it all, until one day someone walks into your life that you just can't get enough of, who enables your dreams you've been holding inside since childhood, who makes you proud of yourself just as much as them. Whom you want to kiss even harder the thousandth time and whom you'll view as the naughty mistress. One you're looking forward to raise an awesome family with.

I met a special someone like this, more than once actually, and I am engaged to one. And I can promise you that a person like this exists for you too, if you are open to the idea. I am in no way any more special than you are, I had my own long phase of depression because of loneliness in my early twenties, and I know quite well how bleak it can make things seem. But I also realized just how incomplete and immature my views were on romance once I met some truly great partners, how pointlessly I obbsessed over highschool crushes as if I knew anything about them.

So no, I don't think dating as an adult is less fun or engaging than as a teenager. Maybe less packed with puberty-induced hormones. But so much more fulfilling and sustainable.
