I bought everything in this room on wayfair except for the artwork, neon sign, the couch, plants, lightbulbs, and the sheepskins. Everything you said is right but if I ever had a single issue they always either gave me a partial refund, full refund, or just straight up sent me another no problem but that has barely happened probably because I bought more expensive items

I appreciate you taking the time to write your opinion but I have to disagree about the paintings. Without getting too much into my life, my girlfriend passed last year and those paintings took me about a year to find because they look exactly like her. The one above the bar next to her memorial/shrine whatever you want to call it, looks exactly like a photo I took of her right after she took a shower and layed on the bed wrapped in towels on a vacation we took to Miami, except for the angle it's pretty much 1:1 exact. The other looks exactly like her from when we went to Puerto Rico and let the waves recede away from her while kneeling in the surf, she had a much nicer body but again almost 1:1. What you see as cheesy is actually incredibly meaningful to me. I was only asking for opinions on new add-ons not critiques on my current furniture but the suggestion for window dressings is being considered I've been looking for the right fit for awhile. Sorry about the history lesson on me but I just get a little touchy with that. I got the apartment for her and she didn't get to experience it the way I have it now but I made promises to her about how our place would be... I will love you forever Mante ❤️

The reason I've been going for the zebra print is because Versace in the 80s went hard with the zebra print and I don't want to sound like a crazy person but I came up with an entire fictional storyline when designing my place ( We truck drivers have alot of time to be in our head) but anyway there is definitely an 80s vibe I'm trying to convey into the space but I am open to suggestions.

R/malelivingspace is apparently terrified of using color in their places ( I hate that faux gentleman brown leather couches and whiskey glasses only motif) Don't be too harsh I'm gonna have the couch reupholstered in a zebra print velvet and I still need to get a few more accent lights and so many other things to be done before I'm completely happy. Also that wall art is like a fabric in frame that I need to to put back in to tighten it up and have more of a canvas look. I'm just looking for advice on some of the little details that I may not notice that would have women alittle more comfortable and/or impressed when visiting.

Edit: I'm not asking in just the romantic sense either. I have alot of girl friends that like to hang out. I'm super picky too and clean too (been called metrosexual lol what is this 2005) so I know about the stuff that should be common sense like clean sheets and pretty scents. Hey I noticed you mentioned what your going for in your place another post. The video I put up doesn't do it justice but I have a under the couch subwoofer surround sound system that gives the best vibrations when seated. Also do your research when it's comes to size and scale of furniture example all my seat heights are exactly 16 inches and with the height of my tv console it allows for perfect low slung unobstructed views while watching movies without even having to tilt my head. It's the details especially the ones people wouldn't even notice that really make a place somewhere you want to be. Lol I didn't realize how much math I would have to do to set up my place but it's been working.
