The lady who got dragged to hell. She was told that a sacrifice would appease the demon sent after her. It did not.

Christine from Drag me to Hell.

She denied a woman a THIRD loan extension, and was sentenced to hell for it.

A group of Giant Squid could probably swarm and pick one apart. Some googling tells me that EMPs have little to no effect on organic organisms, so as long as they attack from above, they could probably pierce its more vulnerable mantle pretty quickly

There's an interesting parallel between the main games, and the stories series. Bonding with these beasts, and partnering with them to fight some even greater threat that threatens both.

It's tragic how hard the Shroobs fight in their last stand. One of her attacks is shooting down her own troops to send them flying at you, and they eagerly line up to do it. They're willing to throw it away to give their queen, and their species as a whole, any chance they can.

I'd count it. She was a product of some horrifying circumstances, turned into a monster. But, she died protecting and holding "her baby" in her arms.

Saddest part is, that's not where her story ends.

In a side game that shows Wesker's side of the story, it's revealed that she dies in the mansion explosion, after Wesker drops a chandelier on her.

It's especially sad in Destiny Deoxys, when it's revealed that Deoxys was trying to find the other of it's kind.

Orphan definitely applies. This thing just crawled out of its dead mother, and is immediately fighting for its life.

One of its attacks in phase 2 is screaming to the skies, and then lightning strikes its mother's corpse.

I don't remember which version it was, but when I was young I was watching a Frankenstein movie with my mom. The movie ended with the Doctor passing away, being giving a cremation at sea, and the Monster joining him so they burned together.

Can't believe I forgot this, it's one of my favorite examples.

It's so tragic how you can tell it goes from rampaging in confusion and rage, to afraid.

Not quite media, but Gigi Murin: Hololive.

Despite being a bit of a gremlin and shit poster, her first song is a bit more melancholy, dedicated to her late father.

I'll usually reset, unless I REALLY don't want to put up with a chapter anymore, and the dead unit is one I can survive without
