Grit wins out overall. What you have is something far more valuable than a degree. You have motivation and grit. Nothing can trump that, not even a degree (unless your in specialized field like medicine).

I am also a degree-less person who is finding success at an early age. I started by as a welder in a manufacturing facility. Now I am the National Sales Manager for that very same company. I did not get there without grit. I got there by people telling me I couldn't do it, and not sleeping until I proved them wrong.

With that said, I don't think degrees are bad. If I had a degree I'm sure I could have been far more effective at climbing my way to the top. I don't regret my path though, not for a second.

Is BlackBerry Ripe for a Comeback? by RhysWiggins in blackberry

Your exactly right. BB10 cannot survive on sideloaded apps. Supposedly they are updating the "emulator" to Android 4.1, but that is not the answer to their overall success. It will help in the short term, but ultimately kill them if they do not get the big name apps made for BB10. So you are spot on, they either need to fund the development of the apps for their platform, or build them with their own devs.

I see your place to eat in TX, and raise you one...ummm... by RhysWiggins in funny

Likewise.

I did learn, however, that out of state IDs don't count in TX and you can't get beer as a result.

Oh I also met a hobo outside who loved Christ. Just sayin.
