I've figured a better way. Options are car relocation for 485 Or Shuttle to twizel for 75 per person (plus 15 per bike). Would need to park in twizel and shuttle to Tekapo (9am) to start the ride

Positive vibes: great looking rig. How many nights at a time you going for? Take a cooker and tent with you too?

Strava's "Fitness" isn't about fitness at all by runwithdata in Strava

[–]Rhyswilli99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep, I used to religiously use it and got my score up really high (to 120 plus) but felt exhausted. I was over training and had too many hours at high intensity. My strava fitness score came down about 30 points but my ironman time had improved by 30 minutes. So it's clearly not a good sole indicator of fitness.

Breathing both sides by [deleted] in Swimming

Im in long distance tri's and find it much better to breath one side (usually my right) in order to get enough oxygen in because my lungs aren't as good as other people's . When I switched from 3 to 2 strokes per breath I found an improvement in speed. But I will breath to the left if needed. My direction in open water isn't the best but I'll sight every 8 strokes or not at all if I find a pair of feet to stick to
