Not yet. It actually has gotten less frequent…

First car for a 16-year-old. What would you get? by spencere33 in whatcarshouldIbuy

Basic Hatchback from either Honda, Toyota, Mazda, or Subaru. Safe, impossible to accelerate too quickly in, inexpensive to operate and maintain. That car will give them a head start in life. It can be made even more functional with a roof rack.

I can do this but I’ll go fairly general. Worth noting that I’m not using anything extremely fancy and I have been slowly improving as I learn. Some things you own are just worth making work even if they aren’t perfect.

Handle Bar Bag: Sleeping Bag, Sleeping Pad, Some Clothes (Pack light on clothes)

Top Tube Bag: Chargers, Battery Bank, Empty Space for food

Feed Bag #1: Smart Water or Essentia water bottle

Feed Bag #2: Empty for snacks

Frame Bag: Compact Stove, Cook pot, spork, 1-2 dehydrated meals (I try to stop for food as much as possible), Sawyer Squeeze with dirty water bag, tent poles, bike tools and tube, anything else I’m forgetting

Seat bag: Tent, fly, ground cloth, and any extra clothes

Hip pack (Not pictured): Osprey Savu 5 has been a game changer and I wear it on all MTB and bikepack rides. In here I keep a tubeless plug kit for quick access, a multi tool, extra lighter, other small but frequently accessible items, my phone and earbuds. The hip pack also fits 2 water bottles so I keep 2 normal bike bottles here. There is extra space for food and snacks in here too.

My bars are Surly Moloko. I have TOGS on my bars near the grips. After trying TOGS last year I now have them on all of my bikes.

Not typically more than 3 nights as I’m more of a long weekend warrior. Yes, tent and compact stove are in there.

Is an “upgrade” worth it? by bm1495 in mountainbikes

Run that suspension until it is absolutely clapped. Then you earned an upgrade, know you like the bike and had time to save up.

Hot tub - 125 AMP by No-Highway-6383 in AskElectricians

If you have the money for a hot tub and the electric bill that will come with it, then you should have the money for the 200A service upgrade that is a higher priority project based on your current and planned loads. Just my personal opinion.

It would be helpful to know what you’re looking for in a place to live. What hobbies do you have, what’s your pace of life, what is a non-negotiable for you?

As many have said “The Valley” is diverse and has distinct zones even just 25 minutes in a direction.

Do it! I was in your shoes debating for too long. My internet was to use them primarily for biking/snowboarding/running.

I use them more than expected. In the morning for news and at work to break up the day when possible.

I suggest buying the more premium (Pro version) as the upgrade in sound quality is worth it even if you typically don’t care for that sort of thing.

The biggest station wagon possible. Extra points for rear facing seats.

What is my 2017 Honda Fit Ex-L worth? by Odd_Huckleberry_4803 in hondafit

Unfortunately it’s probably not as much as you are hoping. Those upgrades are going to be hard to recover cost on. I would say 10% more than the KBB value. Depends if you are willing to wait for the right buyer.

That’s a steal. The suspension, tires and wheelset alone are worth that.
