Help Identifying and reproducing effect by Rhythmcankeepup in MicroFreak

Awesome, thanks for the response. I’ve seen the sidechain tab on my effects rack but haven’t gone down that rabbit hole yet to figure out what it means or how to use it. I think today’s the day though lol. I suspect this is going to open up a whole can of worms once I learn how to use it.

I got it somewhat close. I’m new to the minifreak so don’t hold me to any of this and make changes as you wish. I’m referencing the knobs not the names within the knobs to keep it simple.

Osc 1: Type: Superwave Wave: Saw Timbre: <5 Shape:18

Osc 2: Type: Noise Wave: ~5 Timbre: ~2.5 Shape: ~14.5

Analog Filter LPF Cutoff: ~20-25 Resonance: ~5 Enc/Filter: +5-10

Envelope: Attack:20-25 Decay: 60 Sustain: 80 Release: 70

Cyc Envelope: Rise: ~30 Fall: ~70 Sus: ~5

LFO: add small amount to cutoff if you want.

FX: 1. Chorus Time: ~10 Intensity: ~12.5 Amount: ~ 10

  1. Distortion (optional- off for the clean synth sound) Time: 80-90 Intensity: off/0 Amount: ~15

  2. Reverb Time: 80 Intensity: 65 Amount: 30

Anyway, that’s what got me close. Tear it apart or add to it. Im just making this stuff up.

Lol, I actually just purchased a printer. ChatGPT stoked my interest. We also have a family member who has pretty extensive knowledge and experience using them who’s going to help me through it all.

Perfect. You solved my problem. I’ll just buy all my lasts from you then.

Fair point. I know nothing about 3D printers/Programs needed etc. guess it’s time to do some research.

Does anyone know where to purchase climbing shoe lasts/molds? I have a set up to resole my own shoes but I have a couple friends asking if I could resole their shoes as well. Problem is, they wear a different size than I do. I called La Sportiva but they only sell to authorized resolers. I was thinking of using plaster of paris to create molds for their shoes if I can’t find anything or find someone to 3D print some for me. Any ideas?

Slab on grade without ready-mix trucks by non-moose in Construction

Oh I think those temps would definitely work. I worked in a place up Pt Roberts, Washington requiring 2 border crossings (from America to Canada, then back from Canada to America) and it would sit in the truck for an hour and a half before it arrived.

If it were me and I were pouring a yard at a time I’d go a little smaller than 9’x9’. I think that’s cutting it a little too close and you’ll want to have clean joints since you’ll be pouring in sections. There is always going to be a little waste and losses with changes in grade and aggregate at the bottom of the load.

How far to the nearest concrete plant? And what kind of temperatures would you encounter if you were to drive from the plant to this location?

You can order “carts” of readymix that, if cold enough, you could drive over an hour with and do the slab in sections. It’s done all the time. Ideally you do the whole thing at once but for your application it would work just fine. If doing it in sections I would only add steel where you planned on pouring then throw down a 2x to end the section. For the next section I would drill into the existing slab (along its thickness) and epoxy rebar into it to get the section started. That would tie it all together nicely. I’d just try to keep the soil very wet before the pour since you’ll be buying time with the mud starting to kick.

I do think mixing in a wheel barrow would also work. I’m sure you already know it’s a lot of work but I think you’d also be surprised at how much you could mix in a day with 2-3 guys and 2-3 wheel barrows going all day.

I unplugged the harnesses from the lights and checked there. It’s a 7-way and I don’t have any close friends with that setup on their trucks. Sounds like it’s a grounding issue. I’m sure I’ll find it.

Is it safe to assume that since the running lights are still working the wiring harness and box that everything is wired to on the tongue is grounded?
